Speaking of coffee. Have any of you ever used a percolator and added egg shells to the coffee grounds? I remember when I was a kid. My friends mother made her coffee that way. She said it made the coffee less bitter. Is there any truth to that?

The last movie I saw him in was the remake of 'Rear Window'. He did a wonderful job. He will be missed by many, myself included.

I'm with Quotes and Gumby on this one. If it's held at the Kingdom Hall, go, be there for your daughter. In the end, you will both be glad you did.

How much should home owner's insurance cost in a mortgage?
by Elsewhere in.
on my "good faith" estimate that the mortgage company gave me several months ago they put $100 per month.
i have been calling around and i'm hearing things like $3250 a year ($271 a month).. did the mortgage company twist the numbers to help reel me in?

Elsewhere, check and see if you can get coverage in your state with 'Erie Insurance'. They have really good rates. http://www.erie-insurance.com/

Who in their right mind would leave a 5 week old baby alone?
by WildHorses inthis si so sad.
i wish the story were more detailed as to where the grandmother was.
i would never leave a child that age alone let alone with a dog..

In a litter of puppies, the mother dog will bite down on the whimpering puppy's head, and let go when it stops whimpering. This is how a puppy learns submission to the hierarchy of the pack.
I've had dogs my whole life and never knew that. Maybe more Nurses need to inform patients as you do. It's so sad. That baby never had a chance.

Bus Stop Blues
by bebu inmy 13-year old son missed the bus this morning.
and demanded that i drive him to school.
from his point of view, i am doing nothing at all, and only pure selfishness is preventing me from driving him a mile in our van.

ironically if it was my kids, they would have preferred to stay home if they missed the bus... sigh..
Sounds like my son, Manuel. He would get so angry with me when he missed the bus because I would take him to school.

By endurance I mean running or walking anwhere from a 5K to Marathon, or cycling century rides or longer.
Not sure if this has been mentioned yet by someone else here because I haven't read the responses, but what about........"The Finish Line"?

LT, I'm fine with the time as it is now. I was only concerned with those who find the time difficult and that I am willing to do this twice on Tuesdays at two different times if it helped for those who found the original time hard to follow. I know it's difficult for you guys in the Uk being up so late. Sorry, I didn't mean to upset anyone.
