  i am new to this site.

  i was a jw from age 8 to 28. i am now 48 and leaving the organisation is the best decision i ever made in my life.

  anyway,could somebody please tell me the current jw mis-stance on blood.

  around the 39:00 minute mark the focus shifts to a single sister who cannot find a mate.

  at the 42:30 minute mark she states "i cannot believe it crossed my mind...to look on jw dating sites".

  guess a new unwritten rule is added to the many oral traditions of these pharisees.

  What are your pet peeves? I hate bros who wear tight pants because they're totally Ghhayyy! I also can't stand it when I've like seriously prepped to answer some questions from the Watchtower and other people like totally answer all the cool ones so it's like impossible for me to be uber cool at Sunday meetings. Oh and Apostates are major bummers!

  Places you have travelled: I visited Bethel twice. I so recommend everyone see it, it's Org-mazing!!

  Tell us something about yourself: I love the outdoors because I get to spend a lot of time in people's gardens going door-to-door. I also love walking because being a pioneer I can't afford a car. I like learning about lots of different stuff like the bible and stuff.

  What do you look for in a partner: well she needs to be a girl and like not answer the cool questions in the Watchtower on Sundays so I can be the uber cool one. She's got to like buying used clothes because we would both have to be pioneers and we wont have money for new clothes. If anyone needs clothes shes got to respect that I need them more than her. She should be hot so all the other pioneer bros can like be jealous and stuff. She musn't like parties and must only like to do the things I like to do like walk a lot. And hang out at the KH.

  What ARE the fruits that the JW tree produces?

  Getting it out of my system, a VERY long introduction/outpouring..

  after a few months of lurking on this site, i've decided to take the plunge...i don't really care so much about introducing myself, but somehow there is some relief in the thought of getting my little story out there, just getting it out of my system.

  Not one single head was lost on the wife birthday!!!!

  a surprised birthday party for the wife yesterday.

  we had no idea about the planned party.. the kids (wife daughter and husband) really surprised the wife and i. sunday morning a. truck pulled up and started unloading tents, tables and chairs.

  Nice analogy Terry. We all get fooled at some point in our lives. The question is: what do we do about it? If it's harmless who cares - write the person off as a fraud and move on. If however, the person turns out to be a threat even to a small degree I believe it would be cowardly and/or immoral to turn a blind eye and let others fall victim to the person in question. Being apathetic at times when action is required ads to the problem, there is no way to be neutral once one is aware of the facts.
