  The US is not so rural in my experience of traveling all its states with the exception of Hawaii ( I mean I haven't been there). Theye would have to travel open fields ( guerrilla warfare needs cover) and cross roads, unless they wanted to fight in Alaska but good luck surviving on poor resources. And Utah, Arizona and Nevada have large expanses of nothing for good reason - survivability. With modern technology like IR, starlight and even gamma nowadays, sorry man. Not feasible. Yes the odd car bomb, pipe bomb whatever. I still will never agree a full scale guerrilla war in the US is possible. It wouldn't last a month. Add to that that there is no unification and zero chance more than two weeks. Sporadic outbreaks at best,squashed in no time and they'll hide with their tails between their legs. The sheer logistics of the US armed services combined with law enforcement and cameras everywhere they could scan and detain groups in no time. Individuals could still get away with their individual agendas from time to time. Nothing beyond that.

  You are right about authorities having to waste resources on even empty bags at bus stops. And abortion clinics, yes. As I said, the odd terrorist attack is completely possible even probabable in the future. But a full scale guerrilla war? No way! THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF WAGING A SUCCESSFUL GUERRILLA CAMPAIGN IS HAVING A SYMPATHETIC POPULATION SO YOU CAN HIDE IN PLAIN SIGHT! No where in the USA is that going to transpire, I simply cannot agree. Ive met hardcore gay loving democrats all ove the US. Not possible! Cuba's demographic was spilt pretty clearly at first between pro and anti until finally it went majority pro and thats why they won. A vast area has to be pro - period. It's a fundamental necessity of guerrilla warfare.

  I love you, seriously you know I think you're way smarter than me. But this is a field that even the average marine wouldn't understand, let alone a civilian. Explosives first of all, are graded in classes. The average pipe bomb is a world apart from something made with RDX, ammonium nitrate or Semtex. To make this stuff in viable quantities in the US is incredibly difficult. The best trained marine could not tell you the difference between various types of HE outside of their wrappers. Don't fall in to the media trap.

  Guns and land will always mean more to a right winger than gay rights, I've listened to them at stupid NRA meetings (I attended three regarding magazine capacity modification as per state law), rod and gun clubs and listened to them at full auto shoots where they show up in droves. They care about guns and rights on their land, I'm telling you! Do they want gays in their neighborhood? Hell no! Will they start a war over it? No chance. As I said before, look at their history - what they are willing to kill for.

  Believe me as a weapons and security specialist, I am well aware of the their entire possible arsenal, because there is a limit to what they could have (they definately do not have air support, armor support or artillery support) and they certainly do not even have third generation anti tank or anti air weaponry. Mortars are even extremely unlikely unless they came from Mexico (which is possible).

  What makes you think that a Republican congress would get in the way of preventing civil war? That you WILL have to explain even though I intend to research it.

  As,far,as,drones go, unless you've been involved with them (I have seen what they are capable of) you have no idea. Everyone has the perception of this big white flying thing that drops smart bombs. No. Drones come in a myriad shapes and sizes designed for every concievable reconnaissance and cobat description. Add to that as I said, mixed neighborhoods of pro-government and there is nowhere for these dudes to hide. Guerrillas are only invisible while by far while passive. Nowadays even acoustic ballistic sensors can tell where a shot or shell originated from.

  Please remember that guerrilla warfare is only sustainable with a completely sympathetic,population. Nowhere in the South is everything right wing, that's a fantasy.

  The Bundy ranch incident firstly, represented more to the right wing than this gay hating bitch. The Bundy ranch incident was about the BLM intrusion on land/grazing rights. Look back on right wing history, every stand-off with law enforcement has had to do with infringement of private property and sovereign land rights. Even McVeigh's attack is most certainly retribution for Koresh (a trespassing issue as Koresh saw it). In the end though, if the NG had have shown up, would those with a bead on the authorities at Bundie ranch have wanted to be slaughtered? I doubt it. Again, bunch of right wing AWB men jumped into trucks armed to the teeth to settle a dispute in the tiny South African land-locked sovereign nation of bophuthatswana, and when the BP military showed up they threw down their guns and surrendered.

  which brings me to your next point - the revolution. You're comparing people fighting a foreign government with foreign soldiers vs people here who would have to shoot at their own son or father in the US military. The Civil War would be a far better comparison, but even then, the comparison of numerical military support is not even considerable. The South despite being no where near as organized did well tactically but failed strategically because they did not enjoy the same support the North did - period. And it would be no different now in any way. Back then the grays had almost the same gear as the north on the battlefield, now - are,you kidding? Drones alone would wipe out Kentucky.
