The San and Khoi Bushmen were once regarded to be the most peaceful people on the planet until evidence was discovered that in the late 19th century they were responsible for wiping out an entire village of Ovambo people by poisoning their water well. Long before whitey showed up In the North West of North America the LaKota and Cheyenne had been at war for years. Before whitey showed up in Africa the Zulus had already brought about the complete annihilation of an estimated seventy-six tribes. Fighting for land and resources is not a modern phenomenon.

  How do you feel about the expression "The Truth"?

  it's amazing how the expression "the truth" has become such an ingrained term used by witnesses.. "we have 'the truth'".

  "is he 'in the truth'?".

  most here have found out so many facts about the organisation, and felt the effects of being "gut-punched" as we realised these facts.. so how do you feel about the expression "the truth" now?.

  exploring the human genome is like roaming around an historic town.

  some places are pristine and obviously still in everyday use.

  others have been unused for a while and starting to show signs of decay and if you look carefully there are relics of buildings that were abandoned long ago.. in this post we are going to look at a gene that we still carry in every cell in our body but which fell into disuse 10s of millions of years ago.. humans are placental mammals.

  What Cofty is doing is sharing his knowlege with those interested. I find it incredibly generous of him to put in the time and effort to do so. Perhaps you could put your efforts to derail his threads to better use by sharing your knowledge and teaching us something? I'm astounded as to why anyone would turn their nose up at a chance to learn something -anything- at the cost of nothing more than a few minutes of their time.

  First of all apostates don't define themselves as apostates, religions do whenever these people break their rules. They are simply a group of people who amongst themselves even, often have many and vastly different views which themselves are prone to clashes in discourse. All of them have their connections with religion severed for their own personal ideas or conduct, not because they decided they had an urge to be part of a religiously labelled "apostate" collective.

  elders wife swapping question

  i hear of these stories of elders swapping wives, i remember when i was young hearing of three elders in florida doing this and getting dfed.

  my question is this how is it possible to bring this up in conversation?

  it seems impossible, how can there be multi elders that know each other willing and the wives?

  in the first thread in this series we looked at how the same protein molecule can be assembled by many different sequences of amino acids.. we took the example of cytochrome c and saw that there are many times more possible sequences than atoms in the known universe.

  however the sequences in humans and chimps are identical, and as we look at species less closely related to us by evolution the more differences we find.

  this is very compelling evidence for common ancestry.. in this post we are going to look more closely at the dna code behind those amino acid sequences.. the "language" of dna is made up of just 4 "letters" - a,c,g and t.. sequences of letters are read off in groups of 3 called codons.. acggcctcgaatgccttc would be read as acg gcc tcg aat gcc ttc.

  Deepak Chopra is the "Jesus" of the disciples of "bullshit baffles brains". I watched him in a debate where he made the mistake of trying to opine his idea on the relationship of meta physics quantum physics with his gibberish and a physicist in the audience during the questions session destroyed him, confirming he is the fool and charlatan that everyone suspected him of being. A complete bullshit pseudo intellectual.

  Thanks for Part 2 Cofty. I am a long way off from getting around to this level research but looking forward to getting there.
