John Wayne had a serious superiority complex because he played heroes in "Sands of Iwo Jima" and "The Longest Day" but never actually served a day in the military himself. Apparently he had a hard time looking real vets in the eye.
i have never heard a politician whine like a little girl so much and claim everything to be "so unfair".. now he's trying to claim that a reporter may have been "coming at him with a bomb" (to justify his campaign manager attacking her) just because she had a pen, yes - a reporter had a pen.
and of course he's going to sue - anytime he's criticized or loses a primary he threatens a lawsuit over it.. "she had a pen in her hand, it could of been a bomb or just a pen - which can be dangerous".
yes mr trump, we know a female reporter writing about you if threatening.. in last nights town hall he claims *not* to have suggested suing her and seems to genuinely believe that saying something in a tweet isn't actually saying it.. on more serious and worrying subjects, he wants the us to pull out of nato and for every country in asia and the middle east to get nukes "because it's so unfair".. for someone who plays the tough guy all the time he comes across as incredibly insecure, and whines about how everything is unfair if anyone criticizes him but backs down with denials if pressed on something he has said (or claims it's "unfair" that he's been challenged).. if you don't know who mary decker is (maybe you're too young) she too represented the us and was an embarrassment on the world stage.

i've really enjoyed the cnn series on the 60's and 70's - they give you more of the "feel" of how things progressed in each decade than just the raw facts while still providing interesting and entertaining views of history.
each episode typically focuses on development of one aspect such as tv, music or politics and of course includes important world events.. starting on thursday is the next series, this time covering the 80's.
now it's catching up with things i can really remember well directly.. the trailer shows the huge tv event of the decade if not all time - who shot jr. yes kids, who shot mr burns was just a copy of it i'm afraid.. it was broadcast in the uk on tuesday evening.
this fellow seems to have some good idea about how to get most out of your brain.
this is something i have been very interested in these days, neurogenesis.
i have been doing something things that have increased my neurogenisis as it has many benefits to make life more enjoyable.

johnny santa cruz and i met around 1959 at a movie theater in fort worth, texas.. the purpose of that meeting was to create a fanclub for horror movie director william castle.
a week or so later, johnny stopped me as i was walking home from elementary school.. "hey--i think i know you.
weren't you at the william castle fanclub thing?".
so sad.
i love europe.
i love going there not as a tourist, but just blending in and spending time with locals in non-touristy local gems.. islam seems to be spreading their religion of peace throughout the continent.
As usual the emotionally fragile didn't bother reading our posts. All they saw was forum members talking about an issue which concerns the religion of Islam and their lids blew off.
Nowhere did I once mention a hatred or fear for Muslims, instead I said we should stay out of their business and help them where we can to fight the fundamentalist problem. If I hated or feared them I would not have been able to spend the sum of at least two years of my life in Islamic countries sometimes protecting Muslims from their own. But I've said what I wanted to say and won't bother getting in a debate with people who can't put aside emotions and recognize an attempt at a pragmatic solution motivated out of concern and compassion for both Muslim and non-Muslim targets.
When I use the term "fundamentalist" I'm not merely referring to terrorists/guerillas. I'm referring to all those who subscribe to the fundamentalist ideology of Sharia and rarely question let alone decry the issued fatwas calling for actions or laws any compassionate person would denounce. I hate to break it to you, but the majority do support Sharia/Wahhabism, even Fathima and Shabir, the quiet and pleasant couple who run the bodega across the street from me with whom I spend a couple of hours a month chatting to.
But as I said, I'm done. If you couldn't be bothered actually reading our posts, I couldn't be bothered engaging in a one-sided debate. Nothing more for me to say to irrational emotiopaths.

Also:
It isn't just the West they are determined to undermine. They are waging wars of terror all over the world with the sole purpose of imposing their fundamentalist ideology. This is not just a West vs. radical Islam issue.
christians attack in lahore pakistan.... what the hell is wrong with people..
Heaven:
Exactly, fundamentalists are killing far more non-fundamentalists everyday. And thus the reason THEY need to rise up and fight back in the same way the Northern Alliance did against the Taliban. Unfortunately, the majority of Afghanistan supported the Taliban and there was no one charismatic enough to replace Massoud. In that part of the world, fundamentalists vastly outnumber the moderate Muslims.
