Judging by the immature PM I got from Richie, not only am I convinced he's ill informed for a topic of this nature but now I'm also convinced he's barely reached puberty:

- Making an observation, stating it in a thread on a public forum where opinion was expected is hardly reason to be proud - it's not an accomplishment is it?
@secretslaveclass, Dont worry mate 3 ppl at least like your post. Im sure you feel really proud about that. - Now my turn for a question Richie: are you proud of a thread you chose to start where not only have you clearly no clue on the subject matter, but eagerly dismiss the well informed opinions of those whom you invited into this debate?

I haven't been following this thread because it wasn't of interest. However after reading it through out of curiosity, I want to know if anyone else gets the impression that it's almost as if Richie is trying incredibly hard to come off as an intellectual hosting an intellectual TV debate show when the audience in fact notices that he should be hosting a kiddie quiz show?
I almost expect a morning newspaper headline proclaiming "Game show host exposed as fraud!"

Cappy:
Here's an example of how the religion of my birth is a cult: "All of us must be ready to obey any instructions we may receive, whether these appear sound from a strategic or human standpoint or not." - Nov. 15, 2013 Watchtower
The only difference between Jim Jones and the Governing Body is that Jim Jones wanted people to drink the kool-aid and die, whereas the Governing Body wants you to refuse a blood transfusion and die.
Familiarize yourself with the identifying marks of a "High Control Group," known as the B.I.T.E. model.Excellent!

i need some advice
by SpunkedTeen inyesterday i finally confronted my mom with my research about the wtbts being registered with the un as a ngo for ten years.she didn't get angry at all but she says she doesn't want to doubt the organization, i asked her if she realizes that if this is true what it means and she replied by saying she believes she has found the truth and that satan wants me to turn away from the organization.she also said that apostates make these very clever looking articles to lure us away.i told her that i avoided all apostate websites(which i did) and went straight to the un which confirmed it.i asked her to do her own research on the matter but she refuses to saying she is not going to live her life having doubts about the borg.
i don't think i can wake her up ,especially if she doesn't even want to think that the organization is not "god's earthly organization".. i was thinking that now that she knows about my doubts i can disassociate myself but as i only turned 18 this week and have nowhere to go if she kicks me out the house(my entire family are j-dubs) i don't know what to do to move forward from this point .do any of you have any advice for me ?
thanks in advance..

Sorry Billy another accidental dislike. Of course I agree with you and it's spot on advice, as the others are too.
These fat fingers of mine are trouble makers ...

Sorry I'm the moron that accidently hit the dislike trying to hit like while on the treadmill. 😕.
Naturally I agree with FMF, he's absolutely correct. Violence in low income areas where education, social amenities and lack of sincere leadership and role models is a serious issue which in my opinion transcends the topic of firearms. It's a problem which politicians and the public at large simply refuse to adress and deal with honestly. Until a concerted effort is made to solve these problems, violence in these areas will persist. Firearm control will help to a degree but will never solve the problem simply because these high crime areas have ready access to illegal firearms from within and without the US.

Child Discipline, new article to address Jackson's Royal Commission testimony
by jwfacts ini have published a new article at watchtower corporal punishment, as a response to the testimony that geoff jackson gave at the royal commission.
it includes the relevant part of the transcript, along with a string of watchtower quotes to show that what he presented was not accurate, and that watchtower translates rod as a literal implement to hit children with.

Paul will you be doing more off the ARC? Some of the other contradictions?
I hope so. If anyone could get the ARC's attention, Paul could - he's bloody good at this!

Are logos evil?
by goddidit ini have a vague memory of jws having some objection to logos of some kind in the past, which might be a contradiction to the recent addition of the jw.org logo.. please can someone enlighten me on what their stance used to be regarding logos?.

I think I can clear your question for you. All JW logos are blessed by the GB therefore Godly. All others are either evil or are probably evil. Just a general, tidy statement with a fraction of my tongue in my cheek.
