It is quite harrowing to think that if the JW's had the authority to kill unbelievers like Jehu did in those days, then I'm certain they would carry it out. In some articles i have read in the Watchtower, they almost sound upset that that 'privilege' no longer exists.

More apostate hating from the Watchtower
by Igot2bme ini ran across this post on fb-.
the november 15, 2011 study version of the watchtower, has this to say in an article praising jehu's actions against the family of ahab.
"the prophet elisha sent one of the sons of the prophets to anoint jehu as king and to instruct him to kill every male of the apostate house of ahab.2 ki.

Dub snubbed by my two best JW friends! :(
by TimothyT inhahahahahahahahahaha!!!.
apart from it being frightfuly rude and ignorant, its actualy very funny and rather pathetic.
i really pity these poor people who's lives are ruled by fear.. across the road from where i was working today lives one of my 'very good jw friends' who no longer has anything to do with me.

Sizemilk: I dont see why i should bring myself down to their level. Plus, Id rather be the Christlike one and show kindness, decency and respect. :)
Broken Promises: HAHA! I hope gayness is infectious! :) I love being gay because im happy. :)
Yan Bibiyan: Haha... in some ways id like to, but i dont think i could do that, even if they treated me like this.
Mind Blown: Yeah... i thought that may have had something to do with it. Interesting though, another of my JW friends has gotten even closer to me since Sunday! :)
Pams Girl: Yes... i hope they realise soon that this is from men and not from Jesus.
Nomad Soul: Haha... there are about 18,000 houses, but i knew i was working accross the road from a JW! Dub snub was therefore very possible! :)
Witness 007: How did someone on here put it... they acknowledge Jesus is there but they cant see him, and they treat you as invisible although they can see you. HAHA!!! I like the bike idea... but i couldnt do that.
Desirous of Change: Yes i agree... i hope that if im respectful to them then in the future they may just say, "OH SCREW THIS... IM CALLING TIM!" In which case i will be more than happy to hear how they are. I understand the whole public thing too. Some would rather not speak to me in public and i appreciate that.
Bella15: Yeh... i know exactly what you mean, and you are right too. They were never my friends because a friend by defintion would not treat his friend this way. Brainwashed to a destructive extent.
Mad Sweeney: It realy doesnt bother me at all... I have such good friends in my life and im more than happy. Their actions today only continue to show me how ridulous they all are, rather than encouraging me to go back. You are right too... I dont want them to be sad and bitter, but if they continue then i assume they could risk living sad lives... and neither of them are spiritual per se. I can see both giving it up for one reason or another. Until then, ill focus on my business and continue living my happy, spiritual, pressure free gay life! :):):)

Across the road from where i was working today lives one of my 'very good JW friends' who no longer has anything to do with me. As i was leaving, my 'best JW friend' (age 22) suddenly turned up on his bike. He didnt look at me or acknowledge me once. I just stared at the back of his head smiling, thinking how PATHETIC it was that he is such a lonely person and has a true friend in me, but he refuses to even look at me. When he knocked on the door, my other 'JW friend' (age 19) let him in, realised i was there, looked me in the eye for a SPLIT SECOND, and then quickly slammed the door shut. I couldnt help but laugh. I sent them a text message saying, 'Have a nice day guys. Enjoy the weather. :D'
Looking at it perspectivly, what are they trying to achieve? If they are trying to win me back, then they both should know they are going about it the wrong way because my mind and heart are set as i made that clear to them both. Their little games have no effect on me other than making me laugh. If they are trying to look like d*** h**** then job well done! If they think that ignoring me is going to make me feel like im missing out on 'good upbuilding association', then i think they are rather deluded. I have friends who realy care and love me. When i see stuff like this it makes me realise that i dont want friends who would drop me because of something i am or am not, or something i believe or do not believe. What kind of friends are they? Nontheless, i look forward to speaking to them when they realise that they have spent the last few decades wallowing in unloving, unscriptural and unchristian mire.

What about other religions?
by TimothyT ini love being a christian and i deeply respect the teachings of jesus and i firmly believe that it is through faith in him that we recieve eternal life and salvation.. but what about everyone else?
islam, hindu, buddhist, etc?.
even as a jw i never believed that salvation was exlusively for jw's, but where do all other sincere worshippers of other religions fit in?

Yep... another one of my favourites! But is it nescesary for them to recognise the importance of that ransom for salvation?

Very good Sir82! I have a whole list of scriptures written down which say the same thing. It makes me feel good because i cant see how Jehovah would dispose of all of those good, honest people. The bible certainly doesnt teach such things, unlike the JWs who teach mass genocide.

The Organisation - Did they stumble you?
by TimothyT inbut whoever stumbles one of these little ones who put faith in me, it is more beneficial for him to have hung around his neck a millstone such as is turned by an ass and to be sunk in the wide, open sea.
(matthew 18:6).
how many of you were like humble little children in the organisation, happily going along with things but then realising something was amiss?

Cool... thanks for your responses. My bible says least of these!
Isaac that is very interesting. I suppose the point im trying to make is that the WTS may have affected some in a negative way, but others positive. Personaly, they have made me question everything about them and in so doing, i have become much more spiritual. Im happy that it was the same for you too, and i ABSOLUTELY respect the fact that you have read books and looked into it. Your choices and beliefs have been based on good solid research. If the WTS helped you to realise the truth about everything then i dont suppose you would blame them. In many ways, im very grateful that they disfellowshipped me because i wouldnt be at this happy stage in my life now. HEHE!!! I just wonder though... when they disfellowship someone and he loses his spirituality completely because of it would God be angry and the whole mill stone thing?

Interesting! The King James version uses Strong's G3398 - mikros.
Least:
"small little," is translated "the least" in Act 8:10; Hbr 8:11, with reference to rank or influence.
See LITTLE, A, No. 1.Does this refer to the least as in those humble?
<< Matthew 18 >>
King James Version
1 At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven? 2 And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, 3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. 4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. 5 And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me. 6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, andthat he were drowned in the depth of the sea.Verse 4 talks about humility too.
Anyway, the point is that those who are humble, and as you rightfuly say, in training, should not be stumbled. When do we stop recieving training though?

Website? You mean you think i should post my findings? Lol... i know very little but for what im finidng, i like sharing it on these forums for the few who are interested. I have had my mind and heart opened and i want others to understand what spirituality away from the JWs feels like. This is MUCH better than it used to be! :)
I like your points too. They are very interesting and i think what you say of the next covenant is highly interesting. I wonder what this will include. In any event, you dont need to belong exclusively to the JW's to find out. That much is clear! :)
