When I begin to post here, I was dumbfounded as to the hatred of Jehovah's Witnesses that I saw. Now it seems that there is a hatred for anyone that believes in GOD.......I am shocked and appalled.....

by fresh prince of ohio indon't get me wrong, this forum currently has plenty of interesting discussions and posters, but, for those of you who weren't on the old jwd board in the early-to-mid-00s, man...i'm sorry but you really missed out on the glory years of this forum.
it was really a special, unique place then.
again, not dissing the current, but, that huge exciting wave of ex-jw internet activity that occurred in the early part of this century seems to have leveled off.

este, as an athiest i am being chfristlike. i am not being a dick to you, like you were to my friends. you are welvome to post on my threads.
my point is that a harmonica is fun to play. while you wish for mhy eyes to be plucked out by vultures, i hopr you enjoy what time you have here on earth. if ytou diss my input, than go back to the christ threads because they are so interesting.

Harmonicas, bagpipes, accordians, banjos -- these are all instruments I could easily live without (with a few exceptions).
Why you could just whistle and be content I would imagine. Afterall you are a parakeet......

at least on a superficial interpersonal level the above scripture requires the victim to forgive the offender in order to be forgiven in turn.

As humans we have done so much to violate the laws of GOD. I need to be forgiven, what about you? There is wrong that I have done others as well, that I have to be forgiven for. If I expect forgivness upon repentance, it would be bad of me not to forgive those that have wronged me......that is such a sound principle if you ask me.......

Why Do Christians today need a "governing body" of elders to be their spiritual "teacher"?

since the bible reports that jehovah led first-century christians individually through instruction directly from the holy spirit, with no accountability to a "governing body" in jerusalem, why do christians today need a "governing body" of elders?.
