  i have been out of the "borg" for a while but i finally got the courage to tell my story and speak my truth.

  normally i am just a lurker and i read a lot more than i post but i decided to share this with all of you because this site helped me a lot during my journey.. it's a 7 part series, parts 1-3 are up already.

  Ann, Thank you for stopping by and reading it. More specifially ty so much for looking at my photography work. That brings me an enormous amount of joy and meaning in my life.I am so grateful I have the life I have today instead of the one I was raised in.

  this was how she justified screaming abuse at me an slamming doors when she overheard me tell a bloke who was about to get baptized why i quit the meetings.

  in fairness i wouldn't have said a thing but he asked me.

  When I called my partner's mother once, I told her that her daughter and I love her no matter what and we want them in our lives. I was telling her even if she wants to stay in the organization to please not shut out her daughter who would love her parents in her life.

  She started shouting at me at the top of her lungs saying "Don't Apostasize me, I love Jehovah and you are NOT going to take my relationship with him away from me." Then she hung up.

  Some of them are just so scared of any logic, reasoning, or real love that may be shown to them they don't know how to respond like normal human beings.

  Anyone have the outline for the 2012 'Special Talk'

  the sunday after every memorial they intruduce a new talk, which is the 'special talk'.. this year it's called: "is it later than you think".

  Gah, the fact that it literally is the exact same material over again is insane. I can't believe that there is an Awake with the exact same title and then that link to the thread from 9 months ago with the six signs of the end is exactly the same... of course they subracted the part that didn't make them look so good...

  I just wish that the people I still love in that organization could just be shown this stuff... this stuff from their own magazines but they wouldn't listen even if I tried to tell them because of course I've been labeled an apostate. It's just insane.

  Thanks to Ynot, LostGeneration and everyone else in this thread and others for keeping on posting this stuff. I don't post as much as everyone but I love to read the information just the same.
