  web sites question

  because of my connection with the jws, i have also become interested in learning about other religions.

  not to join them but to learn about them.

  so anyway i like to read about mormons also, so i found a site kinda like this called ldstalk.com then click on the message board link.

  Question for the musically inclined 'annointed'

  what can i say...i love music.. revelations 14:3 talks about the 144,000 and how they sing a song that no one else can learn but them.. 3 and they sang a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders.

  no one could learn the song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth.

  my question is....do the members of the 'annointed' class already know that song.

  *Noidea...I would say that the 'rank and file' would probably be assigned literal numbers.
  *But, on the other hand it might create some confusion.
  *I mean, what happens if an annointed person say...smokes a cigarette, defiles himself with a woman or eats blood sausage and falls out of favor with the Organization?
  *One could imagine that the numbers would get reassigned from time to time.
  *This alone would create the new position of Annointed Accountant.
  *Personaly, I would suggest that this person be proficient at using ACT, FilemakerPro, or maybe Access database.
  *For all I know...this position already exists *shrugs

  With regards to the terrible, evil internet...
  I feel so badly for the folks in the org. who choose to avoid the meaning of the verse at John 8:31-32.

  31 To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, "If you hold to MY teaching, you are really MY disciples. 32 Then you will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free."

  A side note to this is that one can clearly see from John 8:31-32 that the 'truth' existed way before the WBTS did.

  Aguest...I appreciate your kind response...from reading your reply...I would be led to believe that you are one of the annointed...and I am honored that you would reply...I am curious as to whether or not the 'annointed' ones are privy to what 'spiritual' tribe of Israel they are from...which one are you from?

  Mark J...I'm glad that you too share that song...I have a heavenly hope too but I'm afraid that I dont descend from any of the 12 tribes of 'spiritual' Israel...well as far as I know ;)
  If I could choose a tribe it would probably be Naphtali..because..well..the name sounds really kewl.

  I would enjoy hearing the song...whether or not I may play along.

  If you would be so kind...please...would both Aguest and Mark J send me sound clips of the song?

  I know that I'm not allowed to sing along (havent been to any meetings in a long time)...but I would be happy to strum along on my guitar while one of the 'annointed' guys belts out a few verses.
  I'm wondering if it would be sung in Greek or Hebrew.

  I'm hoping that I can hook up with an annointed person who knows the chords as well...cuz...silly me...I'm not really good at figuring that out.

  I think that the 'song' should be shared for all to enjoy.

  What do you think?

  notice the form of "alternative service" that he would've been required to do had he been drafted.

  not civilian, but as one who would work in a military hospital ... which would be aiding the war effort -- a breach of one's neutrality.. .

  why the delay

  met some j-dubs on the week-end this catholic church thing seems to have them quite elated lots of we knew it.. and always said it the church is full of gays and pedophiles now the catholics will finally wake-up and see the light.

  felt like saying something about dateline and possible coming doom, but decided it might be wiser to shut my trap.. personally im fed-up with the day of reckoning being put off time after time.

  after much consideration ive come up with 4 possible reasons for the delay: .

  well i finally ordered crisis of conscience.

  even though i've been da'd since 1989 the truth is that i always considered it to still be the truth up until a couple of years ago when i started researching more through sites like this.

  i never got around to getting my hands on that book though, and now can't wait until it arrives.

  ok, the good news is i'm on vacation: a time when i should just relax, have fun, do things i like to do when i want to do them, stay up all night, sleep all day, whatever.

  but, i picked of all times to *try* to quit smoking.

  i used to smoke like only when i was drinking, or if i had a really bad day at work, but lately due to a stupid ass man in my life and my family fighting, i have been smoking more than i should.
