when the light of truth is turned on them, they scatter like roaches suddenly exposed to daylight.. i am suggesting that next summer, during the usual round of vacation ruining assemblies, that we have our own round of conventions, apost-0-conventions.
Here are a few of my ideas for the Convention :)
-Dramas (How to get out of the bOrg)
-Coke instead of Shasta
-Jeans instead of slacks
-Instead of the Watchtower study we could have the study of the Freeminds journal
-Have apostate authors as speakers
-Go out into the community and do random acts of kindness (like passing out free gum or pop or washing car windows) and telling people that God loves them as they are...and not to listen to the dubs when they come to the door.
-have a "pass around the mic" session where people tell about their funniest dub experiences
-ony make the sessions like 2 hours long :)
-roving beer, pop, and food vendors just like at the sporting events
-intermission entertainment like Cirque du Soleil (contortionists)

actually, i read an interesting bit of trivia somewhere that said mens nipples are always 9 inches apart.
i measured mine and i'm spot on.. of course i'd be disappointed if all my vital stats were just 9 inches

Wow...this has to be the most thought provoking post I've read in a while...I just realized that I dont do anything for "fun" anymore...
I need to change that.
I like to read and chat with friends online...but that is more relaxing than fun.
It seems like everything I do is geared towards work or getting ready for work.

yesterday, the presiding overseer (elder h) read the letter from the christian congregation of jehovahs witnesses (us branch) regarding their policy on child abuse.
all scriptures were also looked up and read.. elder h is a very prepared brother.
he is a gilead graduate and served as a missionary for about 7 years in kenya before coming home because of illness.
Its good to see that some people...even if they are Dubs...are taking a stand. I doubt if what he said came down from the WBTS.
I wonder what will happen if the WBTS finds out what he said?
