my great passion is and has always been serious music.

I appreciate your taste in music.

Although I hated it at the time. I was raised on classical music.

My Dad allowed nothing but classical music to be played while he was home.

Now I find comfort in it.

Never paid attention to the names of the arrangements but I can say that my favorite

all time classical piece is Tchaikovsky's 4th.

Second I think is Ravel's Bolero. *an interesting website... http://www.culturekiosque.com/klassik/news/rheravel.htm

The other composers that I really like are; Rachmaninov, Dvorak, Chopin, Borodin.

The WBTS says Michael is Jesus because of the scripture at 1 Thess. 4:16

16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 18 Therefore encourage each other with these words.

Of course if this scripture says that Jesus is the Archangel...then he is also a "loud command" and a "trumpet call".

What's the "need" of this gathe...

even posting not so often, but with pleasure and feed-back as well, i do wonder why former-jw and i as well with my own subjects - have this "need" to gather and to discuss subjects related to wt.

some seams to use close to hours each days in front of the computer.

i don't see many other web pages of former-catholics or former members of other religions (not of my knowledge - i can be wrong).

guess i hadn't been paying "close attention" at the meetings a few years ago......apparently, jesus is not the mediator between god and men like the bible says, he's only the mediator between the 144,000 and jehovah - i guess the rest of us can go straight to hell in a handbasket...... .

Followers of Christ for the last I dont know how many centuries have called themselves Christians because of their worship of Christ as God.

Jehovah's witnesses, unlike most of the Christians throughout history, believe that Jesus is "just" Jehovah's son and that is it. *well...there's the Michael thing....retarded
