Weird and unusual Kingdom Halls

does anyone here have any experiences with any unusual kingdom halls, such as architecture, location and furnishings.

in eaton ohio there was a small kingdom hall that sat next to the railroad tracks and everytime the train went by it shook the building.

in salyersville ky there was a small kingdom hall in a storefront buliding, no sound system and they had a kerosene heater at the back of the hall.

I used to go to the Springfield West & Urbana congregations.

The Springfield Central congregation had a wooden model of a Watchtower just past the entrance and behind the seating area. It was a nice looking model...just never saw anything like that in other halls.

What must I do to be saved?

first of all, i am agnostic.

maybe there's a god, maybe not.

so i wonder, do i actually have to believe in god in order to be saved?

If you aren't sure whether or not there is a God...why are you worried about whether or not there is an eternal damnation?

CINCINNATI Meetup Saturday 01/04 is a go!

looks like tomorrow will be another great meetup.

interest had faltered over the last couple of months, but i think that was mainly due to the venues offered as choices.

What If We Are All Wrong?

ludicrous as it may seem, the watchtower society may be right?...

yeah?

as so much of their doctrines are based on interpretation.. the watchtower society may have interpreted the bible... correctly!

How can the Watchtower Society be right?

Their doctrine has no absolutes, its not even the same religion it was 100 years ago.

Their bible isnt recognized as a viable reference by any respected bible scholars.

They've contradicted themselves in their own published literature.

Even if I were wrong...I rather die an eternal extinguished death from being a failed Jehovah's Witness...than spend an eternal damnation in hell from being a failed Christian who denied the deity of Christ.

On top of that...I'd almost take any punishment over the sentence of spending eternity on a paradise earth with a bunch of back stabbing, self righteous, gossiping, lemming dubs. *hope I didnt offend anyone ;)
