  will there be over 12k 'partakers'(tm) this year?.

  won't the wbt$ publish the amount of 'partakers'(tm) of the vinegar and crackers this year given that they stated this in qfr watchtower 15th august 2011 page 22 ????

  The total count reported each year is entirely in the hands of WT headquarters. Each congregation electronically sends in their # of attenders and partakers that very night, so they have the total already.

  They could (and may already) make up any # amount they want. It could gradually start to go down again soon if they wished.

  So why would they allow the partakers # to rise?

  1. They are actually honest with the figures.

  2. There is some unknown reason they would want for the number to go up.

  3. They are already fudging, and the actual increase is even more.

  Since #2 seems impossible, #3 is a "too little too late" kind of measure, so IMO it stands to reason that they are not faking the count numbers.

  the reason i ask, is that if you search the wt publications, you will see that it is spelled with only one "p" over 600 times, but also spelled with two "p"s 600 times.. .

  very confusing!

  any linguistic experts out there that know which it should be?.

  Rick has some problems, and could really annoy, but I feel his voice is just as valid as many others that are here. I don't see why he was "banned". But the interenet is vast and there are other boards, and opther websites for him to go lol.

  for those of you with experience being asked this question.....or those of you that are/were elders........ what would happen if you responded to that question by saying "i don't know"?.

  what would happen if you responded with "i choose not to answer that question."?

  and then when they ask why, you say "because i wish to invoke my 5th amendment rights".

  One elegant way you can express it is this way:

  "I am not having doubts. I just have many questions.

  The questions that have no answers don't bother me.

  It's the questions that do have answers."

  And then shut up and just look sincerely into their eyes and wait til they blink. This was suggested to me from a mature brother that successfully faded over 10 years ago.
