Interesting "what ifs" to the future of recording these meetings... the more that people do this, the more all will see how unscriptural it really is.

Are disfellowshipings proportionately increasing or decreasing?
by yadda yadda 2 ini have been re-reading chapter 10 of ray franz's brilliant book "in search of christian freedom" (must reading for every borean-like jw and former jw), and i note that on page 315 it says that in 1995 there were 36,638 disfellowshipped, and 37,426 deepfried in 1996.. are there any statistics that show whether the number of expelled persons is increasing or decreasing proportionate to the number of publishers each year since then?

Remember the Time magazine article published about "JW churn"? This thread and the chart by splash is more corroborative evidence of that.
The Time magazine article states this about JWs:
An even more extreme example of what might be called "masked churn" is the relatively tiny Jehovah's Witnesses, with a turnover rate of about two-thirds. That means that two-thirds of the people who told Pew they were raised Jehovah's Witnesses no longer are — yet the group attracts roughly the same number of converts. Notes Lugo, "No wonder they have to keep on knocking on doors."

People keep asking this one...and that's cool ask away Reds!
I still don't know the answer to that. I still don't care that much if they do...although as I have said before, I personally feel it would be better if they did not know as my goal has never been to embarass anyone.
I do know that my good friend, Greybeard, has come out to his family and to quite a few asleep JWs, and sent them links to my blog, JWStruggle.com. If they have dared to actually follow the links and go to the JWS site then they may have alerted one of these men. The JWs I know are so indoctrinated they won't even entertain the idea of going to an "apostate" webpage.
So do the elders on my case know they are on the internet? I think they probably don't, but again, it's hard to say...

btw, it feels so great to not have to hide and to able to put my picture up anywhere i feel like!.

Mia signed up for an account just recently she keeps saying she's gonna post on here lol but we barely got back from our Switzerland trip less than two days ago and are not bac on USA time yet!
...She never was a JW and is slowly learning all the weirdness of the cult. I'm still planning on getting to editing and posting the "behind the scenes" video of how I embedded the camera on my person for my JCs and she is a huge reason that it worked at all.

i had multiple opportunities to pounce on their inconsistencies....but i refrained.

Bravo to you OutSmart. More and more are doing this and the evidence of the WT's spiritual crimes and hate has piled "clear up to heaven".
You can also put something like that on YouTube as a "private" recording that no one can access except specific people that you give the rights to listen to. Just a thought so that it won't be lost and can be accessed by your daughters anywhere in the future.

My brother died tonight
by poppers injust got word that my youngest brother died of pancreatic cancer.
he was diagnosed in early august.
this has been really tough for me and my family..

In a judicial hearing does the accused have the right to face his accusers?
by solomon inif someone says they saw me smoking a cigarette do i have the right to challenge them face to face in the hearing room?.

The testimony can be challenged. Their own "two or three witness rule" is based on this. If you deny it, and they don't have multiple ones that allegedly saw you doing the deed, then they are not supposed to be able to do anything to you. Of course the elders can override or diverge from their own rules when they feel like it. It doesn't happen a lot (in my epxerience), but it can and does.
