The elders came by and my DA letter
by Crazyguy inthe lead elder co of my hall said he was going to push for a jc meeting.
i could tell all along all hes interested in is protecting his god the org.. so i'm 90% sure now of going on the offesive and first having a family meeting telling them i'm offically quitting and how its going to play out and how i'll will be shunned even though i have commited no sin.
i also may explain a little of why and how i came to this decision with out bashing the org to much out of respect for my wife.

Standing up to the WT Power feels great... No need to even send the letter to do it! Writing can be very cathartic and that;s what matters sometimnes the most.
Good for you.

Finally getting a shepherding call... or so I thought
by Zoos ina few weeks ago i got a visit from a sister from the old congregation.
she was our uber pioneer, fearless, regular and often accompanied by her husband, a ministerial servant.
she didnt know i lived here so it was a brief visit after she found out i had disassociated myself.. i got a knock at the door a few minutes ago and it was her husband this time.

I told the elders that I would take blood and donate blood
by Daniel1555 ini found it important to be honest with my wife.
so i told her about my conscience decision that in a medical urgency i want blodless medicine but if a transfusion of blood or the 4 prohibited components is necessary to save my life or health i would accept it.
this would apply especially also for our child (that is not such a problem as in our country the wts recommends to comply with doctors as they have the right to decide concerning minors).. i showed her the reasons why i came to that conscience decision (biblical and logical reasons) and that jehovah and jesus do not like anyone to die because of this wrong bible application.. .

Listening to the video interview it sounds genuine. This is not to say that proves anything but a starting point is just hearing it with an open mind.
Also Ruben (the interviewer) has a very good reputation as one that has heped a lot of people and has worked with a number of other former JWs.

Yeah when I was an elder and assigned to investigate an alleged wrongdoer we had a couple elders that thought they were private detectives and wanted me to go on a stakeout on the fellow.
I said to them, "I have better things to do than go down to a guy's shop at 5am and wait in the parking lot until he drives up and jump out. I would rather be with my family or shepherding someone."
(Awkward silence for about three seconds)
Then they two junior G men promptly volunteered to go.

Daniel you are standing up for what you believe and it's incredibly brave. Those of us that have done this (and there are many) rarely regret the decision.
You have a PM!

Rebranding, restyling and rewriting - the transformation of Jehovah's Witnesses
by Gorbatchov indear friends,.
a few weeks i am thinking about what's going on with the religion we are focust on, jehovah's witnesses.. what i see is:.
- a rebranding of the religion's organization: just like rutherford rebranded the bible students into jehovah's witnesses,.

I agree Gorbie. Only a week ago I said something similar:
---
I have decided to start using "JW.org" interchangeably with Watchtower Organization, Watchtower Society, etc. for the simple reason that the WT is currently re-branding itself and phasing out the word "Watchtower" more and more. They are even putting up stores with "JW.org" on the side of them now. Not JW, not WT, but that.
Their letters are usually signed:
I predict that in the next five years the word "Watchtower" will not appear anywhere in their new writings, magazines, books, Kingdom Halls, etc.

BP2 said: "Our breakup was messy (and still is). I haven't seen my baby daughter for 2 years now."
Well I can relate to that. I fought like hell to get custody of my daughters during my divorce, and in the end my JW ex-wifey succeeded in limiting it to 30% custody by spending tens of thousands of dollars on a high-powered lawyer. But my heart soars when I do have them and it is the highlight of my week every time.
I can't imagine not being able to see them for two years... and am shaking I'm so mad that you have been separated from your little angel.
What can I do to help BluePill2? Tell me!
