Your world view almost completely shoves philosophy out of the picture which is not good for mankind, it's good for you.
I think engaging in philosophical inquiry/debate is very much akin to the use of conceptual reality, and as long as we recognize the difference between conceptual reality v. concrete reality, there shouldn't be a problem.
I should hope no one took offense to philosophy, albeit so long as it's not something egregious like eugenics. At that point, philosophy has crossed the boundary, and needs to be subjected to the concrete reality, full of it's own consequences.

Theists refuse to subject their "theories" to peer reviews, because they know they don't fit the facts.
Their "theories" are wholly subjective, or not based on reality at all! Of course they don't stand up to peer reviews.
Remember, too, that theists claim to have some theories, but on the whole, they claim absolute truth. Just how the hell is one supposed to argue with that?

Agreed. There is "one source" from which ideas come from. Can you guess what that is in concrete reality?
Shameless bump.

Hence, that order would be imperfect, repeating many past blunders and never satisfying all of mankind’s needs.
Oh, the irony!

Correct me if I am wrong, but Zeus and Greek Mythology was based upon the star constellations.
Ok, and how does this negate the personification of Zeus? Did people believe he was just a star?
Most of my belief comes from myth of which is tied to real historical people who have been turned into myth.
Like for example, Jesus, Mohammad, Siddhartha, etc.? I would just like your current position on belief, because it's kind of hard to determine. You strike me as being into Kabalah.
Do you believe Jesus actually performed miracles? Or do you find some allegorical meaning in his words, which are of benefit to us all?

Sab, a new term for you. Conceptual reality. If we define it and keep it within it's intended limits, cool. Just don't force it onto the concrete reality.
If we talk about Zeus and agree that, while he was myth, was a conceptual reality for those in times past; then we can discuss how he affected the population at the time. We can even indulge in talking of him as real, all the while knowing that he wasn't, at least not in the concrete sense.
I'll start with one you put forth:
There is one entity who is the source of them all: God.
Agreed. There is "one source" from which ideas come from. Can you guess what that is in concrete reality?

From the blog:
I was a twinkle in my mothers boyfriends’ testes in 1975, so I asked her why so many Jehovah’s Witnesses left in that year. “Mum, you do realise that the Governing Body’s decision to say that 1975 was the beginning of the 1,000 reign destroyed people’s lives? Many didn’t set up retirement or health plans in anticipation of the end of the system of things. This impacted on their children and caused so much heartache and stress.”
I always get the same response, “the Organisation back then, as it is now, is run by imperfect men. I knew to wait on Jehovah (Governing Body, my comment), so I don’t know why these ones didn’t. In the end, they left the truth(a religion that made false predictions) and showed their true colours. Why didn’t they wait on Jehovah?” (Governing Body to correct their mistakes)
I "waited on Jehovah" 12 years. That was more than enough for me. To anyone reading this, don't waste your time waiting. Spend it living.

The collision with the Andromeda galaxy has negligible effects, because by then, life as we know it will cease to exist.
Without intervention, by the time that the two galaxies collide, the surface of the Earth will have already become far too hot for liquid water to exist, ending all terrestrial life, which is currently estimated to occur in about 1.4 billion years due to gradually increasing luminosity of the Sun.
Tootired, I asked this recently on another board, and if you believe that the universe is evidence of design, that then God will intervene. At least, that's the excuse that was given.
