by silentlambs inthe following is an emal i recently sent to "friend", as it has now been several days with no response i thought i would share it with the rest of you and see how you would respond if you were sent this email.. silentlambs.
i thought i would touch bases to let you know we are pressing on with the cause for protecting children.
many more continue to come forward and add their names to the list.

Why some stays inside the JW
by beroea ini was posting a little on the old h2o but have taking a break before going to this new room only watching for a while.
im still an active jw and elder here in europe - a long way from you in the usa and also another culture even inside the jw.
i think we in europe as jws are thinking a little different from the jws in the u.s. we dont put religious authorities as high as i think you do.

Faith in spite of the WTBTS --- Hillary, et. al.
by LoneWolf into all ---about faith.. i posted this some months ago on another board.
the comments then were thoughtful and appreciated.
i'd like to know yours, too.. a brief background first: i first became active in service in december of 1946, and have been disfellowshipped for over 12 years now, not for gross wrongdoing, but because i asked too many questions and wouldn't quit.

Long Intro From A Long Timer
by hillary_step ini am a new to posting on this board though i have been actively reading your posts the past while and i thank some of you for the interesting viewpoints that you have verbalized and that i have enjoyed thinking on.
i am still an active jw, in fact an elder of 20 years standing hence my need to limit information about my personal circumstances.
i have served in a number of countries in europe as a pioneer and elder over the past three decades.

BRITS v YANKS
by nicolaou inbrits v yanks.
this is just for laughs, but let's be honest us brits are most definately ahead of our 'cousins' across the water in the credibility stakes.. i'll kick us off and see where we go;.

".They also learned to quit fixing ...
by MacHislopp indo you believe that someone learns from past...experience?.
there was a measure of disappointment on the part of jehovah's faithful ones on earth concerning the years 1914, 1918, & 1925, which disappointment lasted for a time.... and they also learned to quit fixing dates.
(vindication i, 1938, p 338).

To StiLLinTruth
by LoneWolf inthis is only the second post that i've made on this board, so i hope that by posting this a second time, that i'm not violating some rule that i'm unaware of.
if i am, then i apologize to all.. however, this answer to stillintruth is on the fourth page of his last post, and i want to make sure he and as many others as possible can see it.. you will note that i sign my real name to the bottom of this.
that is meant as an open challenge to any and/or all to do something about it.

I cryed today...
by silentlambs ini recieved this note from a young person i know personally.
it brought tears to my eyes for someone so young to see things so clearly.
why can't six million others see this simple reality and the need for change?.

What did you do?
by StiLLinTruth into all those who have in some way left the organization (be it disfellowshipping, disassociating, dis-whatever):.
come now, i know the amount of people who "realized that wt doctrine was in serious error" and politely handed in their letter of resignation has to be very small.
the level of bitterness and hostility towards the closest-to-what's-biblical organization has to develop some other way.. what did you do?

Where do they sit in your hall?
by ns7 inwhat i find bemusing is, if there are any disfellowshipped ones in your hall they have to sit at the back.
now without getting into the merits/rights/wrongs of whether this should be still acceptable, where do they sit in your hall?
you see i seem to remember that they would sit on the back row, come in quietly just after the song and prayer and leave at the end just as quick.
