exjwza; believe it that your brothers did that bcause my sisters actually did a lot worse. I am their only brother and much younger as they abandoned mum and dad and placed them in a home I was disgusted by it so I decided to look after them but they didn't like that cause it meant they had to come and spend some time with her and less time in the field service.I did it for over thee years together with my wife and kids but they took me to court and revoked my power of attorney and placed both my parents in a home so this broke mums heart and she passed away after a short time. At the funeral in the kingdom hall no flowers for mum just my wife and kids placed flowers and wordl people that attended were so disgusted they almost pewked..so I am not suprised at all your family own family did what they did, everything is possible under the influence of the borgs mind control tec.

Famliy Woes
by exjwza inso my story, just like everyone elses that has left, is one of confusion , hurt, and lots of mixed emotions, .
i was raised a witness, and at the age of 20ish bent to pressure from the elders and got baptised, my heart was never in it, not even as a child, it was more jsut the motions of it, because thats what you were taught your whole life to do.
about a year after being baptised, i met a a young lady that opened my eyes, while she wasnt in my life long, (dont blame her, i had a lot to deal with , family, elders, etc) she was my saving grace, in the "truth" i was depressive, lonely, :( .

blondie; that's my view also. I said to my daughter these people don't have the balls to face the truth a face to face confrontation so the simplest way to get out of the situation is to come up with an excuse not to attend and the prophesy has come to fruition

I left the organisation many years ago and took my two kids and wife with me as they believed everything I told them about the societies BS MINDCONTROLLING AND FREAKY BIBLE CONCEPTS, although not d'fp no one talks to us any longer. My two sisters are still in the borg but want nothing to do with us Nor DO their married Jw's kids. When we attended the kh/meetings many years ago no one would associate with my children because they all thought they were a bad influence because they were not baptised and never felt the need to.As many of you already know I posted my experience here not long ago about my sibblings treating my parents like trash and placing them in a home a place where they didn't want to be and soon after taking me to court to re-voke my power of attorney mum died of a broken heart over their selfish act..Now that my daughter is getting married and decided to do the right thing and invite them to the wedding I got a call from them telling me that they dont want to come and I was pretty much over the moon as I really didn't want them there anyway after what they did to mum and dad.Now I hear from my younger sister not a Jws that the're talking ad about us to every tom, dick and harry...your dammed if you do and dammed if you don't

Anyone here have any experience with the "super-natural"?
by Knowsnothing inand if so, would that prove an existence of evil-spirits (demons)?.
i have heard of a couple of stories of possession, or of jw's talking to spiritists and the spiritists having seen 2 men following the jw, either dressed all in black, or all in white, and very strong looking.
yet, i have never experienced any of it.. another experience that i heard is about a brother whose mom had super-natural strength, and tossed something really heavy.

jookbeard..I wish I was but totally truthful here as I said I sold my house an investment property that we purchased and were going to keep but only had it for six months and lost money on it...you can choose to believe or not...we're the ones living the nightmare maybe all from watchtower instilled fear who knows or they brought the demons in

As much as I despise what has happened to me and my family because of the association with jws I must tell you that my family and I experienced Ghosts/demons/angels whatever you want to call them in our lives and still are experiencing them. We sold one house because of the presence of demons in the house. My young daughter came running out of her room one early morning and was all pale in the face and could not utter a word because of the intense fear of what she had witnessed. I told her she could sleep in my bed with her mum and I would go sleep in her room. I joked around tempting satan to come get me and he did. AS I lay down in bed A force came from under it elevating the bed and then all of the sudden this thing was on top of me trying to strangle me and I was in so much fear I attempted to call ON JEHOVAH but it seemed like an eternity before this thing took off like a bolt of lighting straight out the window, this was evident because the window shutters just rattled like a freak storm. I didn't sleep at all that night..the next day we searched the house and found a whole heap of bones under the garage lining and ashes in the roof. We called the elders over that night two infact and one of them sat next to my wife and after an hour of discussion he looked at my wife and they both claimed they heard a loud bang under their feet where as myself and the other elder heard nothing. we had many bad experiences in the house after that night so we decided to sell it asap and we did. The funny thing is where we're living at the moment without my knowlegde only my wife knew of this but my daughter has been seeing someone in the mirror of her room almost every night..but without their knowklegde so have I. I' ve reported this to authorities but still waiting on an answer...go figure

what do you say to a brother-in-law elder who can't take no for an answer

everyone out of the truth seems to understands this and no complaints but my abnoxious proud and pig headed brother in law can't take no for an answer as he thinks his young son is sooooooo special he needs to attend.
he called up yesterday and gave her an earfull on how his son is sooo good and her first cousin that it's sooo wrong to have him there, she came home crying.
