  Can a Person Get Salavtion if He Never Read . ..?

  can a person get salavtion if he never reads the bible?.

  can person just except christ but have nothing to do with the bible and get salvation?.

  if someone lived a trillion x longer than you, and had a billion x more reasoning ability would he come to the same conclusions as you?.

  I believe so.
  Didn't Jesus tell the (thief-or wrongdoer) on the tortue stake:
  "You will be with me in paradise"

  This guy never did anything in fact led a life contrary to Jesus preaching.

  But because God is LOVE and Jesus imitates Jehovah, he gave him this opprotunity for the future...
  HOW LOVING CAN YOU GET...

  Injured at Bethel--then what?

  for 'lookin' who stated in another thread that he was asked to leave bethel after 8 years because he was injured.. is there any form of worker's comp if you are injured at bethel?

  is there any disability insurance if you are disabled?.

  how does this whole thing work?.

  These are the exact quotes from the Bethel application before signing:
  "PLEASE NOTE: It there is an opneing for which we feel you are qualified, we will advise you. Otherwise, please DO NOT expect an acknowledgement of this application. Please do not telephone or call in person to inquire about your application, unless it would be an emergency, since no one person would be able to tell you whether or not your services would be needed. If you recieve no answer from us, remember that your application is on file should a need develop. IF you are NOT accepted for Bethel service at this time, please continue your faithful service in your present assignment, and if possible in the pioneer service. If you are accepted to serve in the Order of Special Full-Time Servants and of the Bethel family, the Society reserves the right to determine if and when your membership should terminate.
  PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY AND PRAYERFULLY
  This application is an expression of my personal desire to become a member of the Order of Special Full-Time Servants and of the Bethel family. I will give that assignment of service priority over all other activities. I will be diligent to take full advantage of the provisions for study and discussion of God's Word that are made for the Bethel family, which means attendance at morning worship and the Monday evening Watchtower Study. To the extent possible, I will also share regularly in the field service and in the meetings of the congregation with which I am assigned to work. I will at all times conduct myself in full harmony with all regulations that apply to the Bethel family, including all matters detailed in the Dwelling Together in Unity manual, such as the sections on secular work, vow of obedience and poverty, as well as the counsel of God's WOrd that applies to all Christians."

  whilst speaking with pops last night, i asked how he felt about not getting his subscription any more.

  he was trying his best to be chipper about it.

  Unfortunately the answer is a big fat NO.

  You are given nothing to help you if you leave-even if you leave by getting injured while working and in good terms.

  There is nothing they offer by way of compensation or even to be covered for a while with medical benefits.

  You get ZERO..NADA...ZILCH

  "Researchers and others have contacted a number of brothers, seeking information about Jehovah's Witnesses and our organization. They have requested that survey forms be completed, supplying answers to questions related to our beliefs and teachings. If such individuals approach a congregation publisher, he should provide the name of the presiding overseer. The elders can handle such inquiries and make an appropriate response based on a letter addressed to all bodies of elders, dated April 25, 2001."

  Please respond via email acknowledging reciept. I do not wish to divulge my name as I am an active member of Jehovah's Witnesses and a former member of the World Headquarters in Brooklyn New York. I served in Bethel for 8 years and was asked to leave due to a work related injury.
