The same thing happened to me several years ago judge overruled my X & I request not to have our daughter recieve blood - a thing that I was so secretly glad for I could have cried!!!
I felt that if I questionned the beleif of the Blood issue
- I'd be D'fd -
and that had been threatened to me too..
Thank God that he provides a way to protect our children from this cult belief.

I know it was 70 hours then it was reduced to 60 I believe...If this is a way to increase their ovrall hours - It will definatly backfire.. just as lowering the standards of anything allows a definate backward movement of the goal..

I would say that when you spoke the real truth to them
- and used the name of Jesus to them
- they ( or the demons that control their minds..)
became the freaked out ones.
You showed them the stark reality that they have been so sheltered from..
If your suspicions are correct - and he was a elder - I imagine there will be a very quickly gathered meeting tonight with the other elders as to how to deal with this..I can only imagine the discussion in the car group after your visit...
I imagine it would be quite a brain-washing session - on how we are all turning against them and the BORG....Can you imagine how it will be when the Dateline story airs?????

by Sirona inif you were leaving your husband or wife and you knew that your leaving would cripple them financially, what would you do?
if you were leaving the family home and you knew that your actions would mean your spouse couldn't make the payments, would you offer to help?.

I am going to be a bit blunt honey - but please realize I have your best intrests at heart.....
1. the first thing I would do is to call your creditors...see if they will allow you to only be responcible for YOUR HALF of the bills accumulated.
-and even thought it will still show up on your credit report..
ask them to give you a letter stating that you have
fulfilled your part of the dept when it is fulfilled.
These letters will better help you to establish your credit again.2. Call a Lawyer... You need to be very careful with this man
- he knows he has you over a barrel and this is due to your
feelings for him...( have been there too...)
3. DO NOT MOVE IN WITH HIM!!!!!!
- Read the books Marilyn (mulan) has recomended...
I'm not an expert
- but it sounds like this relationship has some
serious problems..and you need to addres them BEFORE
you let yourself open for more hurt and pain..4. Take the time you need to get free of the financial burden
of him..
and get a divorce if needed...
That way you are in control of your destiny - not him!!5. Sit down and really look at the relationship
- if he has done this once
- chances are he will do it again.
...and again.
....and again....
You need to make a realistic assesment of the relationship
- be objective
- look at it as if some one was realting the story to you
..what would you recomend they do????6. Take a deep breath and do what yu would recomend - the first step is always the hardest...
