Letter I wrote to the person the caused me to be disfellowshipped

a thread on another forum reminded me of a letter i wrote to the person that went to the elders and started the proceedings to have me disfellowshipped.

i stopped believing in the religion when i was 25 but continued going for about ten years.

i finally started to fade at 35, but about 6 months after i had stopped going to meetings, a person wrote a letter to the elders about my website, which at the time was anonymous.

before i dive into the actual write-up of this experience, let me put some things straight.. i have thought long and hard if i should write more about my experiences during the 10+ years at different branches.

during these years i worked from financial department, service department, home office and different it assignments.

as you can imagine one sees and hears and reads a lot of stuff going through different stations in different countries.

For many years tribute money has been collected from the people of the nations of "Christendom" and sent to the Vatican at Rome to fill the

coffers of the Roman Catholic Hierarchy, and this has been greatly to the oppression and detriment of the people. In Mexico alone for many years the Hierarchy extracted from the pockets of the common people annually thirty million dollars, which money was sent to the treasurer of the Hierarchy at Rome. It was in Mexico where an agent of the Catholic organization compelled the natives to build in one small town many so-called "church buildings" and there installed priests of the Hierarchy that they might collect from the poor natives practically all they earned. The ancient Philistines attempted to get all the riches of the Israelites; and likewise the modern Philistines attempt to get and control all the riches of the world called "Christendom".

For all those who are ‘ignorant ‘ about the definition of “Roman Catholic Hierarchy” the same book " RICHES " by J.F. Rutherford , states on pages 228-229:

Sacred Congregations, or permanent ecclesiastical committees, of which the Cardinals are the chief members; by the Patriarchs, Archbishops and Bishops; by the Apostolic Nuncios and Delegates, Vicars and Prefects, and by certain Abbots and other Prelates." And remember the book “RICHES” was publisged in the year 1936.

i have to practice and get better at parallel parking or i am never going to get my license.

i can get the car in the space but i just can't seem to get it out of there without crossing the lines where your not suppose to go.

when you cross the lines it means if there was a car there you would have bumped it.

25 YEARS of compiled yearbook statistics

hello again folks - as promised in my last thread here, i've been working on turning yearbook statistics into excel spreadsheets.. coincidentally, today is my 25th birthday (spare a thought for a fader).. i've now updated the spreadsheet with yearbook data all the way back to 1988 (the year i was born), therefore it now contains 25 years of statistics.. there were a lot of countries changing around and for some it was possible to create a continuation of data.

some are a simple change of name like south-west africa to namibia.

others, for example - in 1993 with czechoslovakia splitting into two countries (czech republic and slovakia) i have added an extra row that provides a continuation of the data, combining czech republic and slovakia back together as if they were still one country.

time I've downloaded both excel format.

For statistics and other kind of researches your work is excellent.

Men have formed religious organizations and have caused such organizations to promulgate dogmatic statements, teachings or creeds, which are held up as a guide to the people, by which millions of persons have been deceived. There is for instance, the Roman Catholic Hierarchy, which is made up of a few men comparatively that assume authority to rule and govern; and such Hierarchy rules and controls millions of persons who are submissive to the Hierarchy in blind fear.

The Roman Catholic Hierarchy has put before the people certain dogmatic statements and traditions and told the people that they must follow the same. Millions of good persons have been induced to follow and obey the Hierarchy , and by its doctrines they have been greatly deceived. They are deceived because such dogmatic statement and traditions put forth by the Hierarchy are not in harmony with Jehovah God’s truth.

Being in subjection to the Hierarchy , those millions of honest persons are not free, but are in the bondage of a man-made organization. They can never be free until they break away and cease following the doctrines of men, and receive and follow the truth as set forth in the written Word of God. To such persons in bondage and who are honest the words of Jesus apply:” If ye continue in my word , then are ye my disciples indeed ; and ye shallknow the truth, and the truth shall make you free... If the Son therefore shall make you free , ye shall be free indeed.” (John 8:31-36) True knowledge, therefore , means to know the truth as spoken by Jesus and as set forth in the Holy Scriptures.”
