i can get the car in the space but i just can't seem to get it out of there without crossing the lines where your not suppose to go.

when you cross the lines it means if there was a car there you would have bumped it.

25 YEARS of compiled yearbook statistics

hello again folks - as promised in my last thread here, i've been working on turning yearbook statistics into excel spreadsheets.. coincidentally, today is my 25th birthday (spare a thought for a fader).. i've now updated the spreadsheet with yearbook data all the way back to 1988 (the year i was born), therefore it now contains 25 years of statistics.. there were a lot of countries changing around and for some it was possible to create a continuation of data.

some are a simple change of name like south-west africa to namibia.

others, for example - in 1993 with czechoslovakia splitting into two countries (czech republic and slovakia) i have added an extra row that provides a continuation of the data, combining czech republic and slovakia back together as if they were still one country.

during this meeting “food at the proper time” was given and the most important, was given during a symposium of six talks by members of the governing body—brothers jackson, lösch, pierce, herd, lett, and splane— which analyzed and discussed the meaning of jesus’ words recorded at.

THE ROLE OF THE GOVERNING BODY

To accomplish this in the first century, a group of anointed Christians from among the faithful and discreet slave class were chosen as its representatives. From their position in the Jerusalem congregation, they served as a governing body for the entire anointed Christian congregation.

The evidence of the Society’s teachings are very clear and yet during the Annual Meeting of Ocober 6 th , 2012 (°) Brother David Splane commented, concerning the question :

Who Are the “Domestics”?

Jesus Christ said that “his domestics” would receive “food at the proper time.” All genuine followers of Jesus are fed by “the faithful and discreet slave.” Therefore, all of Christ’s disciples—both individual anointed Christians and members of the “other sheep”—are “his domestics.”—John 10:16. Then he concluded with a special comment:

"And brothers, we LOVE this teaching. We LOVE this idea, because it really truly does dignify the members of the Great Crowd."

i got coc in the mail yesterday, i am almost done with the book and after using franz's notes with old magazines, i believe he is not a power hungry, man who i was taught went insane from burn-out!.

i love his updated edition he left us before he passed away, he takes the k.p.

book and destroys the false history witnesses are taught.

Hello everyone, spot on keyser soze. That's why it was published in 1993. Furthermore although it contained many footnotes, the book was not edited in a chrtonological oder of events. This to confuse, to make an hazy representation of events. Very difficult for the untrained person to retrace with accuracy everything from the beginning. I would like to add that for decades the Society has criticized other churches for passing collection plates and other fund-raising efforts have also been repeatedly condemned.

Yet the Society has emphasized that Jehovah’s Witnesses do not solicit donations!

How Some Make Donations to the Kingdom-Preaching Work

CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE WORLDWIDE WORK: Many set aside or budget an amount that they place in the contribution boxes labeled: “Contributions for the Society’s Worldwide Work-Matthew 24:14.” Each month congregations forward these amounts either to the world headquarters in Brooklyn, New York, or to the nearest branch office.

GIFTS: Voluntary donations of money may be sent directly to the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania, 25 Columbia Heights, Brooklyn, New York 11201-2483, or to the Society’s office that serves your country. Jewelry or other valuables may also be donated. A brief letter stating that such is an outright gift should accompany these contributions.

CONDITIONAL-DONATION ARRANGEMENT: Money may be given to the Watch Tower Society to be held in trust until the donor’s death, with the provision that in the case of personal need, it will be returned to the donor. • INSURANCE: The Watch Tower Society may be named as the beneficiary of a life insurance policy or in a retirement/pension plan. The Society should be informed of any such arrangement.

BANK ACCOUNTS: Bank accounts, certificates of deposit, or individual retirement accounts may be placed in trust for or made payable on death to the Watch Tower Society, in accord with local bank requirements. The Society should be informed of any such arrangements.

STOCKS AND BONDS: Stocks and bonds may be donated to the Watch Tower Society either as an outright gift or under an arrangement whereby the income continues to be paid to the donor.

REAL ESTATE: Salable real estate may be donated to the Watch Tower Society either by making an outright gift or by reserving a life estate to the donor, who can continue to live therein during his or her lifetime. One should contact the Society before deeding any real estate to the Society.

The group has accumulated 34 properties totaling 3.2 million square feet over the course of two decades and created a self-sustaining community in the Brooklyn area. The Jehovah's Witnesses have been known to keep their real estate holdings in mint condition and all of its holdings are expected to attract a slew of buyers .

How Long Were the Creative Days?

What about the length of the creative days? Were they literally 24 hours long? Some claim that because Moses—the writer of Genesis—later referred to the day that followed the six creative days as a model for the weekly Sabbath, each of the creative days must be literally 24 hours long. (Exodus 20:11) Does the wording of Genesis support this conclusion?

No, it does not. The fact is that the Hebrew word translated “day” can mean various lengths of time, not just a 24-hour period. For example, when summarizing God’s creative work, Moses refers to all six creative days as one day. (Genesis 2:4) In addition, on the first creative day, “God began calling the light Day, but the darkness he called Night.” (Genesis 1:5) Here, only a portion of a 24-hour period is defined by the term “day.” Certainly, there is no basis in Scripture for arbitrarily stating that each creative day was 24 hours long.

How long, then, were the creative days? The Bible does not say; however, the wording of Genesis chapters 1 and 2 indicates that considerable lengths of time were involved.
