  The funny part is, since he sent it via US MAIL, it could be argued that he was attempting to bribe officials, which could potentially make it a punishable offense. You are not allowed to use the USMAIL for criminal activity. Which is why FEDEX and AIRBORNE have gotten so big so fast. They are private companies, and I could send you a bribe via FedEx all day and there's not a damn thing you could do about it, LOL.

  You can stop dragging that "I'll get fired" red herring across your trail of crap anytime now, because the main crap stinks worse!

  Most folks know that "courthouse reporters" sift through all flings of (especially) FEDERAL LAWSUITS, just looking for "juicy stories" of people suing churches and religious orgs for liability, tort, fraud, and many others, including molestation!

  IF hundreds of such lawsuits had been fied against the WTS, then not just one, not just two, not just a handful, BUT DOZENS would have made it ito the newspapers

  I have no doubt that the PACER system is full of references to the WTS. The WTS has been involved in many constitutional cases, which went throuh many levels of the court system. They have also filed ac briefs in many cases whose outcome would affect them. There likely has been a few business "contract" cases filed over the years, also.

  BUT, that's not what you have expressed or implied, IS IT?

  Let me guess. 99% of the "hundreds" of cases you are referring to as "many others" are the Constitutional cases everyone knows about, with the remaining 1% being the "juicy" cases we discuss here practically every day.

  You didn't supply ANYTHING except an unbelievable ALLEGATION substantiated only by another posting account. Hell, if that's proof, then CT Russell was an Illuminati!

  HUNDREDS of lawsuits, but all the documentation is "sealed"???

  HORSESHIT!!! The filings, etc of any such suits were accessible to the Press (and general public) and IF HUNDREDS existed, there would be all kinds of info on the internet despite any subsequent "sealing".

  Both of you introduce "OBVIOUS GIVENS" into your arguments as if the person you are writing to somehow disagrees with such.

  OBVIOUSLY, RF has the right to exercise the full extent of his legal rights, JUST AS I HAVE THE RIGHT to judge this particular action as being JUST PLAIN STUPID from a business standpoint.

  You forget, I am employed by the Judicial Branch, United States Courts in the District of Massachusetts. I have access to a variety of libraries, software, tools etc.. I have access to WestLaw, Lexis-Nexis and a host of others, as well as Supreme Court Decisions and published opinions. I don't have to be an atorney, or hire one to do research!

  While I don't doubt that you work for some part of the system you mention, I believe that this makes at least 3 different locations you have referred to since you have been posting here.

  As for having access to all those legal libraries, SUCH is meaningless if you don't have the ability to interpret what you read.

  I seem to recall that this "UR" character conveniently showed up on the Board just aboutthe same time that Bowen was prepping everyone for the announcement of the BERRY LAWSUIT filing.

  I also seem to recall that your appearance was followed with an amazing announcement that you were an employee of the fed court system who had access to all you restate above, WITH THE ALLEGATION that you had seen HUNDREDS of LAWSUITS in the system which had been filed against the WTS.

  Then, when I asked you to PROVE IT, all the sudden you can't do anythin because it might cost you your job.

  WHAT A JOKE!!! Like posting here all day long is OK, but to provide PROOF of your wild-ass claims is too much.

  As ANYONE who has done any amount of research knows, if there were HUNDREDS of lawsuits filed against the WTS, there would be trails on the internet from their path through the court system, as well as News Articles.

  No, it is you that doesn't understand, just like others here that think they are legal experts 'cause they know where the courthouse is.

  You overlook my acknowledgment of RF's "property rights" contained in my second paragraph, and the OBVIOUS implication that every person has the legal right to exercise such. (Someone who actually has the legal knowledge that you don't, but think you do, would have understood such.)

  Then you further are unable to understand that the balance of my post questions the "business soundness" of RF's demand for Randy (and probably others) to remove EXCERPTS from his/their sites.

  Randy recently posted a good article on COPYRIGHT LAW. I suggest that you find it and read it. As a copyright holder, RF DOES NOT exercise total control over every EXCERPT from his publications.

  As usual, the RayF Worshippers miss the point in their rush to demonstrate who worships him most and best.

  Noone questions RF's property rights to his pubs, nor his deserving every penny he can get from such.

  However, the posting of excerpts and other info and publicity about he and his books on high traffic websites like Randy's does far more to sell his books than anything he himself is currently doing. If not for all the free publicity that HE RECEIVES from other's webpages, his sales would bottom out.

  If Randy received such a letter, its likely that other's did also, but just don't want to say so.

  What everyone should do is when you take down the pages that he demanded, ALSO take down every other page that provides free publicity to his books. After a few months of slowing book sales, RF's poor judgement may be enlightened.

  PS: To Randy and other website owners. For every one of Ray's books you sell, you probably motivate 25 people to purchase his books, but they then go to Amazon (or other retailers) to make that purchase.

  RF is biting the very hand that is currently feeding him.

  For the record Jayhawk1,

  My lifetime experiences have put me in the presence of folks as "high" as the Chief Justice of the USSC, and as "low" as a Drug Dealer who was featured on "Sixty Minutes".

  Thus, I am able to speak and write eloqently when I chose, or get infantile and dirty when "playing" with "trailer trash" like LDH. Its the "audience" that determines the style.

  Please note that my remark to you was not a "f___ y__", and I even purposedly included the adjective
  "feathered" to inject humor, so that you would not take it too seriously.

  If I were not having FUN here, I would leave, because the vast majority here are not activists, and of those who are, the vast majority of them are either dishonest, impotent, or both.
