2003 DISTRICT CONVENTION OF JW'S ?
by Blueblades infrom the authorized site of the office of public information:.
in turbulent times dominated by fear and insecurity, those who attend the 200 upcoming three and four day programs of bible education in some 62 cities across the united states can expect to be spiritually refreshed and rejuvenated.. jw's 2003 d.c.will carry the theme"give god glory".. does anyone know why there are three days and then four days in different cities?will they cram four days of spiritually refreshing and rejuvenating programs of bible education into three days in some cities and then stretch it into four days in some other cities?.
are they also talking about their" own "turbulent times dominated by fear and insecurity.. blueblades

any film, at any time.
i would have to say any of the starwars films...i've always wanted to whip out my light saber, and make that "arcking" sound they make.

1976 auditions...... Mark Hamill/Francois, Mark Hamill/Francois Mark Hamill/Francois.........hmmmm...... cocking head sideways...... Nope, I'll have to hand it to George Lucas, no disrespect, but he chose wisely with his original choice.

The Wizard of Oz (just to see it being made, and to see Margaret Hamilton in full gear as the Wicked witch of the West, always terrified me as a kid) And maybe any movie with Marilyn Monroe in, just to see her up close. What about you?........

Nilfun.....don't feel like you have to apologise, you didn't come across to me as uneducated at all. I know what you're saying. I work as a ward manager on a busy acute surgical unit and we have 10 surgical consultants operating, at any one time. I hate to say it, but there are more skilled consultants than others, Some of the "older school ones" use blood transfusions all the time, and are very scornful in their attitude of the newer and younger consultants coming into the field, who adopt "bloodless surgery" into their workloads, along with other newer initiatives (ie shorter post op starving of patients following abdominal surgery). I've seen JW patients refused surgery on the grounds of their stand on blood by some of these consultants who've been around for a while, only to have their cases taken on by newer consultants prepared to operate without blood. I think some degree of skill by these newer consultants is evident here. Healthcare and treatment options are constantly moving forward, and I think this is a good thing.
Glad the little kiddie came out ok too.

Oh Brummie, with the passing of dear ol Regina, you just don't know what you've missed. I'll never listen to Skippy the Bush Kangaroo, or I saw a mouse, (WHERE?) there on the stairs......in quite the same way again.

Ouch!!! The Dentist phobic speaks.....
by ScoobySnax inwell i finally did it today, got to the dentist, they had to pull out 2 teeth and i'm in line for a "bridge" whatever that is...... my face feels sore, my head aches, and it feels like i got this huge crater in the back of my mouth......my dentist says its ok, i had too many teeth at the back anyway as my wisdom teeth have come through.
even still, i can't help but hate the dentist.
they always say the same thing..."pop yourself up on the chair" "this won't hurt" "you're gonna feel a bit of pressure here"..... and the classic "sit up and have a rinse now"....

Outof.... I was fortunate enough after a couple of hours phoning around, able to find a dentist practice that is taking on NHS patients still (increasingly more and more practices are accepting private paying patients only onto their books) and the cost is far reduced due to it being NHS treatment. I don't think I'd be able to afford to go private, as I know how expensive treatment can be (theiving gits that dentists are!) My Bill for 2 teeth removal 5 fillings and a scale and polish worked out to £188. If I decide to have implants, I have a feeling I may have to pay seperately at full private care cost, as I think this is claseed as "cosmetic" and not a necessity. Your friends bill however sounds horrendous, for that price I'd expect them to throw in a free holiday somewhere exotic at the end of treatment!
Rayzor..... I just can't see you with a walking cane, I was thinking maybe a zimmer frame! My mouth feels better today, been swallowing Ibuprofen tablets today like they're M&Ms.......... only another 4 more visits to go!!

Thanks Wasasister for your detailed stuff about what is what. I already decided to go for the implants once my dentistry treatment has finished. You are right its expensive, but don't think I want the "bridge" treatment. I asked my dentist about it today and she said she would be happy to do that for me once the bone had settled down, although I might need "augmentation", I just smiled and said yes, whilst clamping a wad of gauze in my mouth! (like I fully understood what she was on about!) I'm sure it'll all work out ok. and I'll end up with Bobby Dazzlers come what may! Thanks anyway!. Scott xx
