I honestly think I'm the same person I always was. When I was "active" I still used to act crazy like I do now, and I still do the same. If I was to become "active" again I'd still mess about. No-one patted me on the back for being JW, no-one patted me on the back for not being JW. Most just like me for who I am regardless.....thats me, Scott.

Are you a different person now from when you were a JW?
by NaruNaruChan ini got an e-mail today from an old high school friend who, after we met for coffee, said "wow, you're normal again!
i mean, you were boring, stuffy, and generally not much fun when you became a jw.
now you're back to the old so-and-so that i remember, i love it!

Did You Ever Believe This?
by RAYZORBLADE inwith all these 'apostates' receiving visits from the jws out in their field ministry, did you, or do you remember anything vaguely reminiscent of this statement i am going to post.
more or less, that because said-jehovah's witnesses are inspired or have jehovah's blessing, that they can avoid harmful situations, or have some sort of divine guidance, thus they should be able to know or sense we are: a p o s t a t e s ?
i seem to recall something like this.

I think I am even being shunned here.
by Holey_Cheeses*King_of_the juice. ini came to this site via freeminds.com and am really quite surprised to learn that this site is maintained by active jw's (am i correct?
- i'm a slow learner).
i get the feeling i maybe getting the shun treatment, which is okay, for i understand that for the mindset from which it originates.

tKingdom Melodies I remember/liked.
by ScoobySnax inok bucking the trend here, but there was some kms i liked, alot of stick has been given to "gods loyal love"....well i liked that one.
nice melody.. i think song 4 "gods promise of a paradise" too.
and song number 15 "life without end at last".....remember this was in the brown book....still like that one, especially at conventions, always guaranteed to be on the sunday programme, still get teary eyed at that one.. what i want to know is what happened to "keep your eyes on the prize"....i can remember writing those words out on a sheet and hanging it in my room, surely the classic jw kingdom melody of all time...guaranteed at conventions circa 70's/80/s......still miss it, and hum it even now occasionaly.

while casually looking around, i came across this, a description of one of the forums over there.
