Went down to Devon (county in the southwest of England) a couple of weeks back, and took a few photo's. Despite being April, it was suprisingly warm. In one of the photo's is a pic of my nan and me. She turns 80 this week, and we'd just been in the pub on the front and had a couple of glasses of Scrumpy Cider and a plate of crab sandwiches!!
The beach is long and sand/shingle place called Beesands and Slapton. The surrounding scenery is beautiful. Hope you can see that.
Anyway thought I'd share!

Ever feel like you just wanna chuck it all in.....?
by ScoobySnax inok i'm whinging here, but have you ever felt that way about your job/career?
take today, i'm supposed to be on pa (holiday) from my job, but got called in this morning, turned up on my ward, and ended up staying all day to support the nurses in the team.
we had 3 cardiac arrests, 1 psychotic patient who was threatening to stab someone, and the usual abusive relatives, who can't seem to see beyond themselves and what they expect.

Things you shouldn't have liked as a Witness.......BUT DID!!!
by ScoobySnax inwhen you were a jw can you remember things you should've not liked but did?
i was listening to some dowloads tonight and heard "happy birthday" by stevie wonder, i remember going to a big family party when i was a kid, and my uncle who had some dj decks put this one on for me as it was my birthday (none of my dads side of the family were jw) i loved it.......good memories still of this song.. i remember getting easter eggs too, and thinking however pagan they were, they tasted bloody delicious.
better than "ordinary" chocolate bars.

I remember hitting the gay bars after the TMS/Service Meeting.........how awful is that?!! The bar was a short walk from the Kingdom Hall, I'd take my tie off, loosen the shirt........order a few beers.....etc etc and meet a mate of mine.
