(not so) True Hollywood Story: Fred from Scooby-Doo
by Funchback inoriginally cast as the brawny male lead for the cast of scooby doo, fred never lived up to the billing.
rich with movie star good looks, fred quickly fell in love with himself.. .
"rit rwas apparent that fred rwas not ronly good rooking, but that he ralso rwas.....um.....different", said a former co-star who chooses to remain nameless.. says daphne, "we started to notice subtle differences in fred soon after he ate a can of hormel chili.

I've forgotten so much!
by daystar inbrigid and i were talking last night and discussing children and how we who were jw kids had to sit still for three or four meetings a week and how that sort of self-discipline has its good points and bad points.. when we were talking about the meetings, she had to remind me that the meetings on thurs.
and sun.
wow, i had completely forgotten.

Peter Andre
by Peppermint innot a fan of peter andre but happened to see his book (biography) on the shelf in tesco.
i had heard in the past that he had been brought-up as a jw, so had a nose through to see if he had anything to say.
he mentions that he celebrated christmas for the first time 2 years ago with katie price.

Yes lets all press gang him into feeling like we do. How dare he have fond memories of being a Witness.

But what if they're right............still the Truth?
by ScoobySnax inthis will probably apply to few here, but to me it'll always be that way.
it's the what if syndrome maybe, but it's always there.
i still think that as a core belief system the jw's have it right, even if their delivery isn't always right.

Actually I was listening and digesting everyones comments here. Nothing more. Thankyou to everyone that responded, and I know, I must seem like a broken record. Someone said...."Scooby, you do this every year.....why torture yourself?" God knows. It's just part of me and how I feel I guess. Anyway, I'll shut it now. Scoob

Again I hear you BritBoy. You are just more comfortable in leaving the Organisation/Truth/Jehovah whatever you want to call it, than I am. Good for you. I can and will not rubbish it though. I agree I started this thread and invited opinion, but I just can't do that.
