List your favorite, overused scripture by JW's!
by thedepressedsoul inthe title says it all.
list a scripture that is way over used.. it could be a scripture that the point is completely missed by how they use it.
it could also be one that they use so much it's as if the rest of the bible didn't exits.. my two favorite are proverbs 4:18 and ezekiel chapter 1 +a few verses.

although it's not my assigned convention, i had to come here and help some brothers with the new video equipment that's being used for the international tie in with new jersey.. i walked out into the auditorium and saw so many faces and thought, "i wonder how many people here know ttatt..." .

At the district convention in NC?
Although it's not my assigned convention, I had to come here and help some brothers with the new video equipment that's being used for the international tie in with New Jersey.
I walked out into the auditorium and saw so many faces and thought, "I wonder how many people here know TTATT..."
I was a little skeptical about giving out my location but I figure no one here knows who I am. And also I don't really care anymore.

Drama: Not ONE word has failed! Regional Convention 2014
by OneDayillBeFree inlooks like the borg spent all it's money on hd panels, gigabit internet connections and ipads cause this is by far the lamest and most stupid drama ever in the history of the org!.
apart from the worse than porn-without-the-porn acting and dialogue, the special effects consist of square painted panels and a crappy blue screen.
also the lighting looks like it was made using flashlights.. even the die hards we're laughing at it and mentioned how silly it looked.. i envy all of those that aren't attending this "historic 100-years-since-christ's-reign" convention.. .

One day Assemblies and the removal of the RBC
by A.proclaimer inso i was at a jw gathering today, and i over heard a brother telling a sister about these new changes.
according to him, both one day circuit assemblies will be put together on the same weekend, one on saturday, the next on sunday.
that way the assembly halls could be used to fit in more circuits as they increase in numbers.

This makes me so happy I never joined the RBC when all the other JDubbies were doing it.
But it also makes me feel sad that it looks like they're planning way ahead beyond the supposed around-the-corner "end" and moving towards being a long time standing religion filled with millions if not billions of $$$.
