  Regional Assembly Violence

  during a regional assembly, there was an incident when subjects suddenly invaded the assembly venue, spraying toxic gas and even hitting some brothers!..

  the police and the fire department arrived at the call and arrested some of these violent subjects.

  there are no reports of any death, more if several people who were affected by the gases.. let us pray for our beloved brothers so that they can be strong and courageous and regain their joy.. we know things are progressing from bad to worse, but we are also sure that we have the lord on our side!

  Kids ... and baptism.

  i have noticed, from reading posts on this and other related websites, what to me is an alarming practice taking place within the jw's.

  and that is the baptism of kids.. on a recent discussion posted by pe ( video of the girl now forced to shun her sister) this child was baptised at 9 years old.

  all of us who were baptised at a much older age know of the many questions one needs to give serious consideration and understanding of to become eligible for baptism, not to mention the two baptism questions asked before being dunked.. surely the organisation must know that children of such a young age are not mature enough to fully grasp the seriousness, demands and consequences of making such a decision.. another point; if jesus is the example to follow, then why did he only get baptised at age 30, and he was perfect!.

  I doubt he was an elder at 19. The Ks book states clearly that even getting appointed as an elder in your late twenties are exeptions.

  i remember about 5 years ago reading on another site about subliminal images in wt literature.

  i honestly thought it a load of bs until i checked out one glaringly obvious image of a creepy skull in clouds within the knowledge book.

  i was shocked and even showed my wife at the time who thought it was creepy.. so my question is why?

  It is 18 years ago now that I worked temporary at Patterson and once I invited a french friend of my, a painter, artist from Brooklyn. So we had lunch and got to know a couple of guys from the art department, a bunch of looners, I tell you. Now thinking back of my time there, it was almost sinister, a very negative Place Patterson.
