@Slimboyfat and others...I have been on a fixed appeal committee for years in miss-service. More than 50% of the decisions of the original committees were totally wrong. Makes sense as in third world countries education is low, there were few elders and those serving were end 20thies.
What I always ciriticized was the fact that although the whole theocratic judge-system is based on US rules, why can't the accused not have a lawyer?

Poopie. Write a letter asap to the CO, branch and the committee.
Write you appeal and do not agree with the decusion. Important! State why you do not agree.
Are the rules not correctly applied, or do you feel you showed repentance. Etc.
The CO will form an appeal committee and will give you a second chance with a new committee. Be prepaired because the original three will show up. They will not be in a good mood.

i have been a missionary in the dominican republic for almost 10 years and i was wondering if there were any ex-missionaries on this forum.. i am back in my country now for 3 years and totally inactive.. what i noticed in those missionary-years was the lack of spiritual interest among the missionaries.. discussions were about rooms, cars and greater responsibilities, the bad territory.
and the local c.o.s and d.os.. was this only in the dr or are there other experiences??.
