  Literature being discontinued, including Isaiah's Prophecy and Reasoning book

  congregations get an annual letter that tells what can be ordered for literature (it's mainly a list of audio cds/dvds for the deaf), but this time it included publications that will be discontinued, and this included the isaiah's prophecy book and the reasoning book, and i think i saw the draw close to jehovah book.

  i meant to take a picture of the letter but forgot.

  the branch is only going to give what they have on stock, when that stock depletes that's it, you won't be able to order those publications anymore.. this is in canada so i don't know if this is worldwide..

  i've heard recently that they are about to finish a new retirement home in beautiful, rural upstate new york.

  Getting up at six every morning having breakfast with people you don't like, work from 8-12, than lunch what you may not like and with people you don't like. Than work from 1-5. Running to get your supper in your plastic box. Whole day dressed up.

  Changes to reporting

  so it seems placing literature is not so important anymore, now that we live in a digital age.. we are being pushed to show videos instead.

  this is the new reporting from next month, just hrs and any literature placed in one box and then how many videos you showed in another box.. bib changes for sure..

  There is no knowledge in Brooklyn or wherever they are nowadays about the situation in third world countries. Hoe does a poor man with three or more kids but four or five tablets? They are out of their mind.

  I noticed it when the video came out for the youth. I think it was about wordly friends. A young 18 years old sister driving a BMW Z3 in California. Jezus....where I served they didn't even have shoes or a bike!

  so i'm reading the book "the atheist book of bible stories" and something just occurred to me.. noahs ark rested on the top of mount ararat.

  how the hell did all the land animals, dinosaurs and other monsters get to ground level?

  did noah and his family just push them off the mountain and hope for the best?

  this is my first post but i've been lurking for some time.

  ive just spoken to a friend of mine from my jw days who isnt aware that i no longer associate.

  hes the coordinator of the body of elders in his congregation so i suppose he does know something of whats going on at the wt.

  I preferred Patterson to Brooklyn, what a hell that was. Noisy, stinky, stressfull. For the ones that serve for a long time in Brooklyn and having their friends in the local congregation it will be a big change. Some were in foreign language congregations and can forget that.
