The two years is what they promise entering MTS, so now this is the point?
In which asian country did this happen?
they only way this minsterial school grad missionary could get a visa was as an "english teacher" so he got a job part time and pioneered the rest of the time.
he was very upset when bethel told him his wage for english teaching belongs to them!!!
he had expenses living in this asian land and had no family support, but bethel thought his small watchtower "reinburstment" was enough.

Or he was not a missionary, because in that case he would live in a missionary-home, or he was sent as a pioneer, but that is another story and position. Believe me I have been a real missionary for almost ten years. So give the facts as they are. Most MTS graduates were not send as missionaries. In fact it was rare. A pioneer, even assigned by the branch, and even graduated from MTS is NOT a missionary. In fact if he would have been a missionary he wouldnt have had time to teach, with his home-duties and 140 hour requirement.
"he had expenses" you say. As a missionary you don't have expenses everything had been taken care of, housing, lights, food and you have your allowance. So try again.

A missionary lives in a missionary home and for him is everything arranged. So something is wrong in this story.
today marks 13 years since my wife and i have stepped inside a kingdom hall.
after 29 years full on being a jw and a number of years serving as an elder then as the presiding overseer we pulled the plug.
yes 13 years ago coming home from the first day of a circuit assembly i said to my wife “that’s it i am not going back”.
Welcome Gerry. Good you left that cult. Waist of time. I regret all those hours, months and years of full-time service and meetings and hassle with congregations. But it is never to late to start living.
this was news to me, it's from a year and a half ago,.
from joe emerson at http://www.christianwitnesses.com.
bethelites told they weren’t doing enough, hadn’t reached their potential so about half of them walked out of the talk; efforts made to get names of those who walked out but didn’t get them all.
No way a poor country could maintain their bethelites, missionaries, sp, co's and the maintenance of the buildings. For example, the construction costs of the dominican republic branch was a 200.000 us $ a month and took several years. Just because incomes in a country are low will not mean things are cheap.
look at these two photos from africa.. .
.
who's getting the money donated for kh building and remodeling?.
A lot of space for increase there.

They will need everybody in the Western countries, or do you think the countries that grow donate enough? No, Brooklyn has to send many millions a year to African and South-american countries.

GB did not pay medical bill for Bethelite they had sent to the Domincan Republic and got sick there; is right now fighting to stay alive.
My comment..........
BS. It is not the GB that pays dentist and medical bills of the missionaries (at the end yes) but the branch. I even paid them to fellow missionaries directly from the home funds as we were far out. Never had any problem nor comments. What a fake Messages.
