Finally some one who has seen nice italian suits and fabric. These are cheapest of the cheapest suits available in the US. Europeans so that includes italians don't wear black suits, unless you are an undertaker or a waiter.

it must be arround 1978, when litle gorby was on holiday with his parents and brother near some tourist village in the very south of the netherlands.

it was always special, driving 300 km in a litle saab 96 for holiday, far more then others of our jw congregation.

worldtravelers on a small scale.. and then, while walking near the road, in a moment, my mother said loud "look, brother co!!!"..

i have heard stories and it seems like these were mostly in the 70's and 80's before my time.

i couldn't imagine.

Who is benefiting from Watchtower Corporation financially

who do you believe is financially benefiting from watchtower business dealings.

i know about the gold apple watch, but that is only a small percentage of the billions that they have.

so who do you think is keeping all of this money.

I can only say what I saw in my theocratic career. I know well or knew, one has died, two of the members of the WBTS, long time missionaries and one a branch coördinator. I am 100% sure they did NOT benefit from that position. Poor as rats like the rest of us in our assignment.

Then, when we worked in B and in P we got to know in our congregation some of the GB well. Not that we were that kind of special but some of them really appreciated long time missionaries. Same thing, not any signs of getting money out of their responsability. There is a small group though that was in our congregation, higher ups, that I have never ever seen in the hall. I wondered why at that time.

That is all I can say. If a brother out of respect gives a gift to a particular full time servant, even a nice watch or a car (a Canadian gave us a car for instance, an old Ford though) I have no problem with that. But that doesnt mean they benefit from the organisation.
