  what unique to jws phrases do you remember?

  something fun for those of us taught to speak an entirely unique and pure language.

  there have been posts in the past in this forum but perhaps some have new ones after having kept up with jehovah's chariot as the light gets brighter.

  How Long Did It Take To Finally Leave The Organization Once You Realized It Was Really Not The Truth?

  it actually took me a few years to finally leave the organization so i was mentally out for a while before i simply stopped all meetings altogether.. how long did it take you to finally make the break?

  We divorced in 2004. At that time she attended the meetings and was active. Since that moment I have never seen her again..So I dont know.

  leaving today for rome, and then a mediterranean cruise.

  will not be online, i will miss you all.

  hopefully, when i get back, the wt will have declared bankruptcy.

  We are in Crete right now, in an appartement looking at the island Dia. I was thinking of Paul citing Epemenides in Titus 1:12 :” Cretens are liars, evil brutes, lazy gluttons”. In fact most men are fat but kind, always offering you an ouzo or raki. Great climate here and good food and wine. Now my last cigar and raki and tomorrow flying back.

  About a year. Working at Patterson. I saw the hypocrisy. I did not show up anymore on my department and within two weeks I was back to my home-country. No money after so many years abroad. Gave up my privilege as an elder and stopped attending everything. My wife went on attending though.

  i am finally at the point in my life i no longer believe in the tales of the bible.

  my husband feels for the most part that it too is stuff made up.

  there are just a few things that he wants to get cleared up, and one of those being the story of adam and eve.

  I was surprised today by what I saw a JW driving

  i was out thrift shopping where my sister lives.

  before i went in to the store, i went to donut shop a few doors down.

  as i walked up, there by the window was a family and others eating donuts.

  You americans have to understand that the car issue is typical from your country. In the northern part of Europe I never heard in my youth people talking about having sportscars or two door cars. In fact nobody that we knew had a van, just regular 2 or 4 doors. Some had Porsches or English sportscars, one elder almost 6,8 inches tall used to drive a Triumph Spitfire, that was funny. Only one elder was subject of mockery or scorn...he drove a Camaro. He was nicknamed the pimp, as only dealers and pimps drove and drive american brands.
