  here is my story of becoming a missionary after having kin suen (pronounced “shin”) as my circuit overseer.

  my father wanted me to go to college, but since he wasn’t a witness, i knew he just didn’t understand how close we were to the end.

  i had actually become a circuit overseer!

  Thanks for your experience ex-CO. I was a missionary as well for 9 years. It’s a hard life, inside the home with sometimes annoying people and on the streets…noise, heat, humidity, dirt. No money, no decent transportation. I am so glad I left at an age I could still make something of my life.

  a long, long time ago, when i was young, i became a 'special' pioneer.

  it meant that i had to spend 150 hours a month, and i received a small allowance.

  i was then assigned to a small country congregation, in western nsw (australia).

  Normally is the special pioneer allowance, in this case different because he got a home paid by the society so this is a special situation.

  Only one weekly meeting?

  new wt october 2023....first an article remembering 1923....they make changes, the had a "prayer, praise and testimony weekly meeting".. after an study article about obey, specially paragraph 18.. i have a wild guess, next year, just one weekly meeting for the borg..

  A meeting a week does not mean on a sunday. They could use every single night and the weekend, more reason to sell redundant halls.
