Irony of "Rebellious" Youth
by Pathofthorns ini've found it quite interesting talking to several young ones who lead double lives.
the sad thing is, i don't find these ones so wicked.
i find them basically good kids who got a little messed up because no one had any time for them, or attempts to relate were rather lame.. the irony is that while talking to one while he was smoking a cigarette, out of nowhere he says, "but i still believe its the truth".

What is the WT afraid of???????????????????
by Zep inok, since it was so easy to get on here i'm assuming that this place is also over run by wts critics...but anyway!.
i've read a plenty of wt mags and got sucked in enough by the whole thing to go to a few meetings and do a bible study( which i wouldn't really call a study, since we just read one of their books).i soon broke of the whole thing and didn't even read another mag for about 6 years...6 months ago i wandered into h20 out of curiosity and ended up reading up on the arguments against the wts.. i have a simple question, and its probably very naive to ask this...but why is wts so afraid of debate?...there are plenty of sites arguing against the wts...but none for, apart the official site which doesn't address the issues raised by so called "apostates" anyway.. if the wt has the the truth why dont they just refute the the arguments against them instead of shutting up shop and labelling anyone who questions them an "apostate?
" or from satan or something.. i'm really beginning to think that all this wt business is just waste of time, that if i were to go to kh and ask questions that i have, i'm more likely to be labelled a trouble making agent of satan rather than be taken at face value as someone with serious questions.

Another reason they are afraid is these types questions I found this extract on another site regarding the new policy on blood.
It is also possible that the WTS is attempting to deflect some of the criticism it has been receiving in medical journals in recent months over the contradictions and inconsistencies in the policy and improve its position with some European governments who feel that the WTS is a dangerous sect
Asking myself why would the organisation go this far to be allowed into these countries.
please not tax-free $$$$$$$!!!!!!

Throughout all my years as a loyal jdub I was constantly reminded that we should be no part of the world.
I would like to put forward this question.
IS the society now trying to conform with the world by stating that they do not expell members for taking blood? Making them sound more palatable. Doesn't it look like a softening and appeal to be accepted by the world? Are they contradicting themselves since we are to be in no way even similiar to mainstream religions?.Is this one step closer to them becoming part mainstream religion? Will they bringabout their own downfall and reveal themselves to be false prophets due to their own doctrinal changes?[8>] -

This can have dire consequences for some. I know personally it lead me to throw all caution to the wind as far as bringing my daughter up. Because of the boundaries imposed by the organisation I allowed my daughter to follow her heart and understanding. I felt a release of the restrictions and guilt that had plagued me due to what I now know are basic human traits not weakness or wronddoing as the society inculcated into me I wanted to protect her from the same guilt complexes. Unfortunately your words are a reality of the emotions one can feel exactly
I don't believe it and yet I know it's true" is really what is being said. A witness is taught to accept the 'whole body of teachings' as 'the truth'. We are not allowed to be selective and yet... we have that strange, contradictory statement popping up now and then.
Dangerous reasoning when trying to bring up a child. Conditioned to hate the world and non witnesses in it and particpating in the normal routines working etc, developing friendships with these ones who are not in the truth feeling guilty for liking the world .... Very hard to instil a sense of direction in a child when you believe the world is going to be destroyed My daughter is now 21 and thankfully she doesn't have that guilt but in a lot of aspects of her life I feel if only I had not carried all this guilt and fear with me whilst bringing her up than she maybe might have a clearer picture of a direction in her life.I thank god we have have a beautiful communicative relationship and friendship. We are now healing each other.

How many errors can you find in the lesson?
by Dubby inhow many inconsistancies can you find?
how many things are not told about the religion in this lesson?

I would like to back up my statement which may have sounded harsh regarding the faithful and discreet slave replacing Jesus as mediator.

Foremost that you baptise yourself to the organisation not God.
You can no longer associate with people who are not witnesses.
You give up your freedom of conscience if you do not you will be disfellowshipped ie disagreement with doctrine of the FDS
That you will now be a part of a publishing company who's main goal is to get as much of their publications out as possible for as little cost as possible for themselves.
The WTBTS is not responsible for any decisions you make regarding blood and legalities which may arise.
In essence you become an antichrist of sorts because you now have faith in 144,000 and the remnant left on earth Known as the faithful and discreet slave to be your mediator for God. Hence not following Jesus words that he is the only waqy to God.
Last but not least you are not to get heavily invovlved with the internet this will be few as associating with apostates. -
