Have the faithful and discreet slave confused Jewish kosher laws which forbid the drinking of animal blood (Leviticus 7:26) with the medical practice of human blood transfusion?

Q) What is the relationship between this information* and chrisitanity ?
A) None. ( please scripturally prove otherwise if you think you can )*the friend/xandit “enlightenment” on property acquisition procedures of a New York based book publishing company – the WTBTS.
Not a publishing companyAfter reading the thread "WT IN USED CAR BSNS", and folloing the link to Circuit Leasing.com, I still thought it was some kind of joke. So I decided to call the phone # listed on the website. Sure enough, a receptionist answered,
"Circuit Leasing, my name is -----, how may I help you?"I said I had visited their website and wondered what the "No Blood" keyring was about.
She replied "If you visited our website, you know what it's about"

Drugs....why?
by Tigger inim new here, so go easy with me!
just wanted to know if any one has any idea's or personal experience in regard to drug and alcohol abuse in former jw's.
all the one's i know have just lost the plot when it comes drugs and alcohol, especially drug use.

Hi Tigger
How long have you been in the truth?IMHO all of us always feel like we have to say sorry for anything we think or do.I believe that goes for persecution complexs too. Drug abuse as far as ex-witness goes would be a form of the individual blocking out the guilt the organisation and Jehovah puts on them. It may not apply to all.How can you say I know? I have experienced it. Thats how I felt.
One thing we can learn is we are all different and cope with things individually the common thread being the nature or conditioning we have in our choices of dealing with leaving the WTBTS.Whats the forbiddon? Is it actually giving 'mankind'
those not following faithful and discreets slave direction
the benfit of the doubt that they may be nice people and may even display a truer christian love than those we call brothers.Sometimes it may just be we are genetically prone to this form of abuse. If you have a drug problem and are asking this question that really is the first step in sorting things out within you.
Welcome aboard

Friend you like to skirt around the issues. By using a lot of meaningless words you almost get away with it.
I can only guess about any academic skills that you might have, but I need not guess about those manifested in your statements above—and others too. What you have done above is a flat out misrepresentation. It is such an outrageous and obvious distortion that it amounts to a lie, which is beneath any decent measure of academics; and Christianity too for that matter! What a fine flaming hypocrite you are.
SS and Friend are sure you to guys didn't go to the same school?

MAT 12:1-8
by Zep injust curious as to how jw's interpret these verses in relation to the blood policy?.

The Society will never give reason for their latest stand on blood
Jesus wasn't interested in the showy display of ones faith. He always allows us to question our heart.
Sadly the faithful and discreet slave has not been so attuned with their hearts nor Jesus.
The society has been unable to come even close to interpretating what Jesus's words meant. Now they are cornered and have to finds the means to back up their stand on blood throughout the last mid fifty years. -

Well said Path
SS personaly I and others (if I may include others because surely I am not alone)
that one of the blessings of an inssight into the conflicts between the relationship of religion and personal beliefs in a creator is the realisation and acceptance that all mankind regardless whether of a non christian or christion belief has sensebility, which goes beyond the average JW understandingthat they are above everyone cause they know the truth
even so called normal people (never affected by anything... never influenced). Unfortunately the form of christianity the WTBTS conveys is contrary to the real essence of christianity. The society is always so quick to jump off the mark. Always first at criticism
The net and forums such as this one are havens where we can be ourselves expose our hearts. We are entitled to anyway????
[>:(]There are few people I know that I see physically that I can talk about this kind of stuff freely .Debate if we want: speak freely as we have right to do when dealing with people day today. The WTBTS is taking this freedom away to so many. Making us feel guilty to what is rightfully ours.

Gospel Q-Your thoughts?

What a great site. Thanx seven Its coming into our winter guess what I'll be reading.
What fascinates me is the women like Mary mag are virtually ignored in the bible. Jesus obviously aprecciated our talents.
I think women played a bigger role in helping preach his word then history tells us. The oldgot to keep them in their place

The signeficance of this scroll and others is that they were recorded closer to the time of Jesus than any of the books of the New Testament. The book of Thomas is said to be written only a feww decades after Christs death.
At Nicene 14 the committee gathered every document available on the life of Jesus than made the decision which books would be included in what we now know as the bible. What worries me is the committee at the time were the nucleous of the Roman catholic Church and they had already promted teachings such as the trinity etc. The book of Thomas included references of Jesus saying the kingdom of God was within us.They included testaments which only agreed with their doctrine.Sadly they destroyed all the other documents.(wouldn't want any one questioning their authority0
The significance is that the Q and several other scrolls reveal a different scenario than the bibles NT?I have always felt that the dead sea scrolls will one day become very important in the revealing of false religion. My research on these books vague as it is has brought me to the conclusion that the bible is just one piece of the puzzle.
The NT deifyed Christ mixing pagan with real documents where as the books of Thomas Peter etc humanised him. It has hinted that Jesus was acutually an Essene and married to Mary Magdelene. The wedding at Canaan where Jesus turned wine into water was his own wedding . In one account in the scrolls dunno which one will find out more0 Jesus is described as kissing Mary Magdelene on the lips....
I am fasincated by this topic Does anyone else have info on them? -

Liberal JW's
by Dubby ini admire the jw's who seem to be not too affected by what the society teaches.
for instance; my brother became a jw when he met his wife, who was born into the wts.
his wife and her family, always seemed to be very gregarious people, and enjoy life very much.

Waiting so true[Maybe we just never bought the program as strongly as some others]I was one of the others that bought it 100% +
If only they could just get a glimpse of a smidgion of reality. The claim of the happiest people in the world triggers off alarm bells inside me still! Feelings of questioning where my headspace was naivety, embarrasement for allowing myself to be lulled in this very same spirit.
Once I made the break and started to have faith not only in a God but in my own decisions and conscience I discovered a real contrast to the happiest people in the worlds..
