My Baptism Story

i have been thinking about how the events surrounding my baptism may be of some interest to this board, so here is my story.. i began to talk about baptism when i was seven, but nobody took me seriously.

i let the matter drop until i was ten.

i was persistent this time so arrangements were made for the elders to go over the questions with me.. at the time, it was customary for baptismal candidates to study the live forever and united in worship books.

Here is my true baptism story and I'm gonna try to convince elders my baptism was invalid. I was 16 and went thru questions. After last set of questions the elder told me he didn't recommend me to get baptized at that time. But he did say I could make my own choice. During the stand for two questions oath I realized I had not made a prayerful dedication to Jehovah. So, I never said yes to either question. I was scared and embarrassed and wondered if I should skip baptism but feeling too much pressure so I took the dunk. I think I could make a case for not following direction of organization and going thru with dunk under duress makes my baptism questionable or entirely invalid. Someday I will make my case with a secret camera ala ray publisher

IT SEEMS ODD WT THINKS BAPTISM GIVES THEM LEGAL RIGHT TO RUN YOUR LIFE. IN REAL LIFE YOU NEED TO BE LEGAL AGE TO SIGN A CONTRACT BUT IF YOU SPLASH IN WT HOLY WATER AT ANY AGE IT'S A LEGAL CONTRACT TO THEM

Make Them Prove That You Were Baptized!

this might not work for everyone, but it might for some.. if a person faces disfellowshipping, the person should make the elders prove that they are baptized!.

as far as i know, baptism records are not sent to bethel.. without two witnesses to the event (and the witnesses have to remember seeing the person immersed), and no photos, there would be no proof.. if someone did this, the elders would of course contact bethel for instructions, but what could they do?.

it would put a stop to the elders proceeding with any action..

@jeandeau...love the idea, although I may have to do some back pedaling on some comments I have made to various ones critical to WT. I would love the outcome if I played this out in entirety. Especially the legal ramifications for WT if the decided to Eff with me

I got more responses, but just had to say, that Cosmo dude, what a complete moron. Entire video was riveting (both) I will also video my meeting but I will hit harder from a legal standpoint because I feel there will arise a legal movement to shut down the WT because of their extreme practices and harmful doctrines

I see myself sitting in front of one of these star chamber tribunals in the future and here will be some of my responses to a few of their questions: do recognize the authority of this committee? Answer: could you please inform me by what authority? Is it the authority of the corporate entity of this congregation? Is it by the authority of the WTBTS corporation? Because my attorney will want to know when you violate my civil rights who ultimately to name as defendants. Or is it a self appointed authority in which case do you carry an insurance policy which protects you from civil action as a result of these proceedings?

do you think this is a tribunal? Answer: no I think this a carbon copy of the unjust trial Jesus endured

they've df him...we all were following the judicial of raypublisher....jwstruggle....eric and we all are now awaiting the full video with full details.. this is a happy but hard time since he still has family in...let's try to strengthen him!

I hope in the very near future lawsuits are successfully waged against the WT for civil rights violations of its own members. The WT harsh treatment of its members is the reason it is being banned and abused by Russian authorities. Hopefully the whole world will see the WT for what it really is and be toppled like all the prominant dictatorial regimes like saddam Hussein , who knows maybe we all can watch gleefully while the GB are hung like saddam or shot execution style for their crimes against humanity as they deserve. Nothing would make me happier

big news - i met with the elders last night.

they were not arrogant and they were not mean spirited, but of course we all know they also would not budge from the jw brainwashed beliefs they are sworn to uphold.

i let my light shine, and within two minutes of sitting down with them was no longer nervous.. .

I wish you the best I'm stuck with entire social network and family JWs but have voiced assorted beefs with some with care but so far everyone goes into defend GB and WT mode so it goes nowhere fast. I get the feeling with some they are ready to break free mentally so I go for the juggler but no awakenings yet. I tell everyone I can to read millions now living will never die and then remind them the beliefs taught there were at one time teachings you could be DFd for if you disagreed with in part or entirety just as Rutherford did as confirmed in the faith in action dvd when his associates were dismissed for disagreeing with the judge

We don't know each other but I did see your video and my heart ached that good people are maligned and demonized just because we figured out the WT and GB are full of crap. One question I keep in mind to ask if I am ever found in your situation is why when the WT feels its rights are infringed on regarding freedom of religion worship and association they run to the European court of human rights and duke it out legally but if an individual member tries to excercize the same freedom they fight so jealously for it is treated with harsh consequences and the rights of the member are trampled on and defamed for doing nothing more than excercizing freedom. I would like to ask why doesn't the GB just turn the other cheek like Jesus taught his followers to?
