excellent material can be found within the reasoning book, page 328, para.2, 3. occasionally, i see posters make presumptuous comments like, "all you need is the bible", or, "i'm born-again, so there's no need for spiritual assistance from another christian", or,"i'm saved", or my favorite, "jesus talks to me directly.

" on one hand, i can't be overly critical of such ones because they do attempt to read and understand the bible on their own.

(acts 17:11) not to mention they're generally peaceable folks, just self-misguided when erroneously believing that they can go it alone.

Hey SFPW....all of us can say with confidence that you would never admit to reading and posting on what all faithful JW's would say is an "apostate" site. But the fact that you come here secretly out of the sight of your fellow worshipers and interact with those who have found out by one way or another that the WT is just another false religion, is a clear indication that you truly DON'T believe in Jehovah's existence. If you did you would shudder that he observes your behavior and disapproves just the same as he would if you secretly viewed a porn site or engaged in fornication without a twinge of guilt. Your visits to this site and posting makes it clear that you don't think he exists.

Congrats! As a lifelong born in JW...I read and post here too knowing jehovah doesn't exist either...that's after careful research and fact finding...I openly curse at him like Jobs wife said he should do..and be killed...but I'm still here...alive and well....

Definitely believe in god but not WT god....bible is a fraud I feel....too much credibility problems and too many contradictions and questionable authorship

the witnesses are always pointing at things and attributing them to jehovah's direction.

Tech49 visits Bethel: Part 1-Patterson

i thought that it was a good time to post my experience about visiting new york last spring.

enough time has passed that no one can put my experiences together with any kind of timeline..... so our family discussed the trip to the holy land (ny bethel), as none of us had ever been.

anyone who is anyone knows that you aren't really a good jw christian until you visit bethel!

Never been there...never will...but I wonder...what if you just bolted and went in somewhere you weren't allowed? Would you be tackled? Arrested? If you asked why you aren't allowed somewhere what is their response? I would ask what is it they are hiding that you can't see? Would it stumble someone to see what it is that they are not allowing many to see?

I think if I had ever gone even when brainwashed, I would be livid that they live in such plush surroundings and so many of the followers live in poverty volunteering for them to live like lords and kings....

The heavens closed its doors in 1935 to the WT followers because of their errant, ungodly false etchings. Makes sense WT followers felt no heavenly hope after 1935, the teachings were outlandish and as the WT leader, Rutherford was viewed as an arrogant asshole and any who followed him were rejected from entering the heavenly realm. Rutherford had to deal with this sudden lost hope of the WT masses and invent a two class hope so faithful followers wouldn't leave him and go elsewhere. Now the world can see from clear hindsight Rutherfords teachings and beliefs have all been abandoned by the WT because they weren't true then and embarrassing for the WT to have in its history now. But now they are diverting and changing with a blinding pace all their false doctrines.

so today, two elders from a congregation i was in two years ago came by the house.

they said they wanted to talk to me about things that they have heard, and that they want to talk to me very quickly, as soon as possible.

perhaps before this week ends.. i don't know what to do!!

I had a good friend in our hall in my early teens that I used to hang around with a ton and my brain dead JW mother tried to lessen our association by saying we will become gay if we hang around too much. When my friends fiery black mother heard that she called my mom and verbally undressed her and I was loving it the whole time. Really made my mother who was abusive tuck her tail in for a while. She got mad at me for telling my friend what she said.

i ask this respectfully, and do so after watching a favorite show of mine's season opener which had a new years storyline.

hollywood tends to make movies and television show episodes centered around holiday themes appear warm and blissful.

while i'm thankful to have never participated in such holidays, i can't deny my curiosity about ex-jws that do celebrate.

I always craved to do holidays when I was young and birthdays too. Now that I'm awake to the WT's cult operation I again crave to do holidays but my ignorant circle of JW family and friends prevent me. Stupid cult.

I used to give awesome talks...at least that was what I was told...but I never will again...I used to write talks up in 5 mins for the boys or girls....I still could in perfect JW lingo and indoctrinated nonsense. ...but my family won't trust me to do so lest I slip something in..."not WT approved" so I gladly sit unbothered by the drivel...
