I read the rest of the transcript. "Logical debate is bad?" Okay, now we know why the WT is the stupidest bunch of people in the world. Mentally ill, psychologically diseased, highest rate of mental illness, arrogance, lack of love, never acting like Jesus acted or taught elders to act, etc.

This transcript shows that elders are arrogant, power-hungry, uneducated jackasses. Ask them to prove an unprovable doctrine and they call it "debating" and refuse. Jonathan had them dead to rights and they wet their pants mentally because they knew they were wrong. Or maybe that really didn't. THAT would be the ultimate sadness here.

Out of words??? Jesus, what a crock!!! They don't run out at conventions when they are slandering the apostates. Nor do they run out at the door if the HH invites them it.
Just listen to all the bullshit the elders say during the JC meeting when they are listing your sins. Then when you score a point, they run out of words. Well, I guess it figures. They ran out of brains a century ago. Actually, they never had any. So since the brain runs the mouth, if the brain is goned, it follows that words will stop too.
We need a good radio/TV show during soap opera time. I bet many would get a kick out of it. The WT loves dramas, there are several on tape and each summer we get to watch men with Brillo beards gesturing in 110 degree heat whild avoiding being dive bombed by birds.

this was supposed to start before the end of this year.
one thing i mentioned is that they were smart enough this time, not to put anything down in writing, but simply let it get around by "word of mouth".

Anitar: You made a good point about hypocritical tracts. The entire universe knows about the child abuse coverups. I remember when the WT gleefully pointed out the the Catholic Church had so many case of priests abusing children that they had to set up and "800" number to handle all the calls. I think the WT should do the same, but that would bankrupt them in 5 months. I almost puked when I saw that item about false religion being known because it harbors child molesters. Percentage wise, the WT had the greatest amount of pedophiles than any other religion, and according to some studies, more than the WORLD IN GENERAL. I don't know what the rest of you think, but I think it's pathetic when a religion that holds itself up to the world as the cleanest religion on earth and therefore that's the proof that they alone are "God's Organization", and then breaks 90% of the rules in the Bible. Do they honestly believe that others don't see through this bullshit? Then why are so many JW's leaving??
Since my daughter was molested and raped, I found this tract particularly offensive. I've mentioned dozens of times that I'd love to kill those responsible. Many may consider me "mentally disturbed" for this wish, but many women I've met told me they'd load my gun for me. ONE ELDER TOLD ME IF HIS CHILD WAS RAPED, HE'D KILL THE MOLESTER EVEN IF HE SAT IN PRISON TILL HE DIED AND LOST ETERNAL LIFE!! Now how is THAT for sympathy for my cause???
These tracts are worthless except for use in an outhouse. I know many think I'm a little too blunt and spiteful, but I'd like to remind everyone that if it happened to you, you might feel differently. Danny Hazard knows what I mean. This has taken years off my life, cost me my wife and child, cost up over $100,000, and I lost my home and a car and went bankrupt, all due to this issue. I know I can't sue the WT and win, but I will try.
We can still contact local papers that run columns on religion. Many parts of the world, and the USA as well, have no love for the WT. The southern Bible belt is mostly Baptist. Florida might be a little more progressive because over half its residents are from the North and they brought their ideas with them. But most here don't like the JW's. All we have to do is buy a SL pin, wear it, and explain what happened. SL also had easy to carry pamphlets to hand out. There are ex-JW support groups in every area, and if you can't find one, you can start one.
I urge everyone to STILL hound Dr. Phil and Oprah so that Bill Bowen can get on their shows. I mean no disrespect for either TV host, but I've seen a hell of a lot less interesting things on their shows than exposing WT pedophiles and saving the children. If all these celebrities are donating time and money to Africa, then they should be able to host SL or Randy on a one hour show within the next year. I'm sure their ratings would skyrocket, although that's not our purposely entirely. WE WANT TO PROTECT OUR CHILDREN.
If you are a JW, you support a child-raping cult. Rev. warns what will happen if you don't "get out of her, my people". Well, you aren't God's people. If you are studying or thinking of it, go to SL and read what one person told a JW who wanted to study with him. He mentioned the child abuse scandal and the elder got angry, clammed up and left. I thought they were appointed by holy spirit, which cannot make mistakes. What happened? Didn't Russell and Freddie speak from beyond the grave and give accurate information?
To the WT: If you don't fix this problem within the ultimatum time I'm going to give you in my next letter to you, it will be all out war. I and others have money, time, educations, were high up in the WT ranks, and are Internet experts. You cannot win. The harder you fight, the more money you wasted and the move evil you will look when you lose. Your lawyers can't help you, especially if they are dead from old age. And the countries in other areas like Russia, Africa, etc., and NOT allowing you legal status. You don't deserve it. Your history of lying in Mexica with the marching card, changing what a brother can do to avoid the military, the Heart "talking" with the brain (what asshole thought that one up??) and all the other nonsense you've done will fry you in court. You love to brag you've won at the Supreme Court most of the time. That will soon stop, or I'll help remove the politicians that defend you.

They are having too much fun going to the JW parties (yes, on Thanksgiving Day too), being invited for dinner, being matched up if you are single and there is a single sister (gee, where can I find any of those?) available. All a new person needs is a clean body (after baptism) and a job to sister Cult can punch out 2 or 3 babies and go out in service. (Oh, sorry, I meant to learn the name of every clerk at Dunkin' Donuts, where every laundry room is in every apartment, how to start your time at 5 am by asking your non-JW mother/father/dog/whatever if they want a Bible study.
Well, maybe some lurkers will learn something. I certainly hope so. I don't like being a wise guy, but the WT deserves it due to the name-calling and smart-ass comments they and the publishers always make. "An eye for an eye." Now, where did I read that........?

WT letter advises JWs not to edit Wikipedia articles on JW subjects

i occasionally edit some of the jw articles on wikipedia.
a couple of days ago i noticed a comment from one of the most respected jw editors to another jw editor on his personal talk page mentioning a letter from the wt society about editing on wikipedia.

There's too much idiocy here for me to begin, so I'll just say a few things. Debate? I remember at a convention in the late 1970's or early 80's that it was announced that an elder would be on TV (NYC area) "discussing" (debating??) the immortality of the soul. There was a rabbi, a monk, some famous TV preacher (can't remember) and a few others. I notice the WT doesn't do that anymore.
Anonymous academic study is a waste? Who wrote the pretty green NWT bible?? Names, please?
I'm not surprised if it comes to the point where the WT tells JW's not to read Wikipedia anymore. They have been stuffing ten pounds into a five pound bad for over a century. Did they really believe that it wouldn't finally squirt out in their faces with the world watching?

Anitar: First, once again, my compliments on a good thread. And also thanks for your kind words to me. Yes, cognitive dissonance is involved. I'm also a musician and composer. Holding all of the WT's beliefs in your head is like playing a C Major chord (C, E, G) while playing an F# chord at the same time (F#, A#, C#). If anyone tries this, you will see how badly it sounds. But it reminds me of the WT's flip-flops. Yet they claim a "spiritual paradise", which if true, would be arpeggios up and down a harp in the key of C major only. The WT's teachings sound more like a blind person with no ear for music banging away playing 8 notes every second and we have to listen to them. I've actually gotten headaches when attempting to perform on a concert grand piano that was out of tune. The WT is WAY out of tune. You can't find one melody in any of their teachings. Yet, in this analogy, they claim to know more about music than Rubenstein or Liszt (although none of them play the piano), scream at us for claiming they are hitting "clunkers" when they play (publish conflicting articles) and then want to DF those who are concert pianists simply because the true musicians will not approve of the WT's music or admit that they are the best pianists in the world. The facts speak for themselves.
As I stated in earlier posts, I learned my lesson. It's a long story and I won't go into it now. But when I married at 27 years old, I wanted to finish the one last year of college. My wife was an RN. I wanted to get my degree and let her stay home and have 3 or 4 kids. Then I'd have been a school principal or college professor by now, living in a large home, having a large loving family, and my wife wouldn't have had to work. As it turned out, we had one daughter when I was 35, both of us still had to work full-time, and now we are getting divorced. WT, WHERE THE HELL IS ARMAGEDDON??? I'd sue those bastards if I could, but they cleverly hide behind freedom of religion and say it was MY choice not to finish college. Yet if I had, the PO said I'd never be used in the congregation. When they were grooming me for elder and then CO, my wife had no problems and loved all the sisters envying her the "glamorous" position she had. Now she hates my guts for her having to work full time and says I was lazy. That's a joke. I was a book study conductor while a ministerial servant, asst. WT conductor, account servant, literature servant, kept the field service records, had a part on every service meeting, was the main reader, was the chairman at the Memorials, had a part on every school meeting and whenever the elders left town for a meeting, I was put in charge. Now what was I supposed to do, say "no thanks, slave drivers. I have college courses to attend? And I have piano lessons and practice (4 hours daily) to do?" What would have happened to me then? My wife conveniently forgets that part.
I honestly don't know where they find the logic they use. I never saw more blatant lying and total lack of brains in my life. I feel like an idiot that I ever joined them. But I know now why. After getting my degree, I learned about my emotion and psychological needs and the WT and JW's filled them. You get and instant family when you go to the meetings. I came from a dysfunctional family, so I was an easy target.
I hope all the lurkers will consider the WT's record about child abuse and scrutinize your own reasons for belonging. DON'T tell us that it's the truth. You will be cut to shreds. DON'T call us names like "apostate" or "fighters against God". You wouldn't know God if you drove over him with your car. Use your brains and stop slinging names at us. You just might learn something.
