Colin Quackenbush, a one-time editor of Awake magazine now deceased, said "The meetings need saving." He too said he would read his Bible when the meetings were bad.

How to Endure Meetings Constructively - My Approach
by Room 215 ini occasionally attend sunday meetings, either just for curiosity or to placate my dear wife.
i've recently developed a method whereby i tune out all the proceedings from the platform and audience, and take to reading acts (i've just begun to learn a great deal about roman history via audio cds from the teaching company, which i listen to on my long commute to work).
the lecturers on these all highly praise the accuracy of the book of acts and all the gospels in general, in terms of their accurate depiction of life in judea and the hellensitic kingdoms under roman rule.

Since you on the right won't answer this question. Abortion
by dawg ini posed this question on another thread... namely burns and hooberus...wouldn't answer, so i thought i'd ask it again in an open thread..., .
you on the right disagree with roe v wade... so that means that you want to redefine when a zygote, embryo, or a fetus has what anyone would rule for lack of better words "the right to life"... .
exactly when is life, human as per your definition?

Dawg,
I'm curious. What are your views on what should be done if a fetus/baby (whatever you want to call it) survives an abortion?
When I answered this question I came to a different view of abortion than I had previously.

Where would you relocate in Texas and why?
by White Dove ini love the heat, humidity, palm trees, and the ocean.
at the same time, i don't want to get flooded out by a hurricane.. do you think there are places far enough above sea level that don't get flooded in houston?.
would you recommend dallas as a good place to relocate?.

Amarillo is nice enough but it has lots of cattle lots. When the wind blows a certain way the entire town smells like a cow's ass. Friendliest people I've ever met though.
Dallas/Ft. Worth is one big concrete jungle with hardly any greenery. If you had to choose between the two, Ft. Worth has the better downtown.
All the large Texas cities have bad air problems in the summer. When the air doesn't move the air quality is bad enough to give you a headache and make your stomach feel slightly upset.
Housing is cheap here compared to other U.S. states. You can get a decent three bedroom home for 130k here.

WORLDS APART: Actors Going in Service
by compound complex inthe orthodox muslim faith is a constant source of debate in the western world today, and it would be obvious to draw a parallel between saras dilemma and the difficult situation of young muslim girls in a western country like denmark today.
director niels arden oplev has openly stated that this was a parallel he had in mind when he made to verdener.. .
sara goes proselytizing with her father (jens jrn spottag) and younger sister (sarah juel werner).

I'm not surprised. However, CD WOW's site states the opposite:

I ordered the dvd from CD WOW two weeks ago. It hasn't even been mailed yet. Yet they charged my credit card. There is nothing on the site to indicate whether it was in stock or not. I won't do business with them again.

I have tried to be an atheist
by stillajwexelder ini have tried to be an atheist- honestly, i have really tried.
i have most of dawkins books and many others.
i completely agree there has to be some evolution and obviously the fossil record in the grand canyon plus erosion shows it must be at least 600 million years old.

Having a burning bush experience sounds cool. But it would screw you up if ever did really happen to you. I mean, really... what would you do with that experience?

Having one now. Thanks to Bisous for telling me about this elixir. Makes Tanqueray and Bombay Saphire taste like Listerine.
