One week later and I wait patiently for a reply.
Are there no experienced JW's who read this page. A non-reply does'nt look good for the organization
Thank you

Jesus and the greys
by mensa163 injesus and the greys.....my comment may skip out to outer space but after further study it does seem to have some merits and some basis in scripture.
i am wondering if anyone has come across this and your opinions please.. chuck missler and mark eastman (both devout christians) have a theory that possibly satan and the demons will visit earth in the form of aliens from outer space.
most of the world is expecting such an event anyway and would this not be a perfect opportunity for satan to convince the world that he is in charge of the universe and is "god".. some of the scriptures they use are based in the old testament writings such as the nephelim and "the sons of god" who married women on earth and had offspring.....this was one reason for the flood,,,,to destroy these people.. in the new testament satan will come using all kinds of counterfit miracles, signs and wonders, it also says that the secret power of lawnessnes is at work now (ufo & alien sightings???

I will add a bit more to my original comment on the "alien" slant
Jesus was an extra-terrestial (not of this earth)
God is an extraterrestial(not of this earth)
The angels who appear are extra-terrestial(not of this earth)
Satan & the demons are extra-terrestial(not of this earth)When the angels appear to man they are often described ar powerful and with beauty.
When demons or aliens are described it is ugly, putrid, stench, reptillion, etc.
I have been listening to too much Art Bell....!!!!!!!I sure hope Jesus will forgive my terminology used here

In the new testament satan will come using all kinds of counterfit miracles, signs and wonders, It also says that the secret power of lawnessnes is at work now (UFO & Alien sightings???) A good area for descriptions of the coming of satan is 2:THESS. chapter 2
I am not a UFO fan but often have wondered how satan could fool mankind on short notice during his coming and this looks like a possibile method considering most people are partly "expecting aliens" anyway. Also in Thessalonians it says God will send a powerful delusion so that they (non-christians) will believe the lie
Have any of you considered this possibility?? I know the whole idea is kind of a stretch, but I welcome other brief opinions. Mensa163

THOUGHT PROVOKING QUESTIONS !!!!!!!!!!!!
by d0rkyd00d ini printed these questions from a website long ago, and loved them to death cuz they freed me from that god-forsaken religion.
i challenge any witness to answer all of them in their entirety, since the true religion stands against all falsehood.
please note that these are from scriptures in the new world translation, used by jehovah's witnesses.

When you have time you should add this to your list:
It is a question based on HOSEA 13:4
I am the LORD your GOD
who brought you out of Egypt
You shall acknowledge NO GOD BUT ME
NO SAVIOR except MEaccording to watchtower teachings Jesus was "a god"...if this was true we must not acknowlege him according to the above instructions from Jehovah himself.
also if Jesus is savior and Jehovah is savior they must be one and the same according to the above verse. JW's have never answered this satisfactorly for me.
I sure like your series of questions....keep it up

What Do Un-Believers Not Believe?
by mensa163 inone of the things that used to annoy me in the new testament was the "believe in jesus" message.
any explainations seemed fuzzy at best so i decided to take a run at it from behind and find the definintion of an un-believer.here is what i came up with and i welcome other opinions.
many of the people around jesus were jews, they walked with him, talked with him, listened to his teachings and witnessed his miracles.

My beliefs about Jesus remain strong no matter what the scientists discover about our universe. Especially during the endtimes we are told about a powerful delusion that God himself will send to the non-believers so that they will absolutely believe the lie. Thus it appears we may expect many things to challenge our faith. As far as the universe, I guess it is quite possible we are indeed just a tiny portion out on the edge, I also accept the possibility of other creations or life forms could exist but in the meantime the bible concentrates its message to us regarding earth as we know it and we should stick to that for now -

When I first saw your long reply my first thought was 'Oh No" somebody has typed out half the bible here. Once I started reading I was hooked and have re-read it twice already. I am even going to print out a permanent copy to keep. I was expecting everybody to pick apart my one paragraph summary. Instead , you have contributed a much better summary that borders on excellence. Did you sit down and just type this out in your own words? If you did, you are truly gifted and should be in the pamphlet or book writing business. I have never heard this subject explained so well. Thank you

All the Holy angels, fallen angels, & demons live for eternity.
The problems started in the spirit world (the rebellion) resulting in good/fallen angels.
It was after this man was created.
Mankind is influenced by both good and evil and can choose.
The contest is in the spirit world , man is the prize.
The souls of mankind also live for eternity.
When the contest is over God tallies up the results.
Some are assigned to be locked up for eternity with satan.
The rest spend eternity with God and Jesus.
God does this to show his infinite wisdom, love, and justice to the spirit world.
Mankind is the only area forgivness is exercised.Pick a specific area and I will back it up with scripture.

Hopefully a learned JW can answer this for me.
I have many JW friends & attended a couple of meetings.
One friend dropped by every month or so handing out pamphlets etc. and we enjoyed the visits. One Saturday I asked him who was savior and he said Jesus. Then I asked him to read the place where it says "I am Jehovah your God,,,You shall acknowlege no God but me,,,,no Savior except me"
He slammed my door & I haven't seen him since and this question still haunts me. I keep thinking that if Jesus is Savior and Jehovah is Savior they must be the same persons if only one savior is permitted according to Jehovah.
Also if Jesus is "a god" we should not be able to acknowlege him because Jehovah said to acknowlege no God but him. If an experienced JW could help me with this I greatly appreciate it. Thanks. -

You are correct in sensing differences between Jesus slant & Paul's version. Jesus audience at the time was predominantly Jewish and taught as such. Paul's main mission was as the apostle to the Gentiles (most of us) and that is why he explains things a different way at times. Both messages apply of course, just directed to different groups & you are pretty sharp to have observed this. Good questions you raise.
