Also yes the image was a .png that you had to click on, but hushmail is checked for security, thats the only reason i opened it without too much concern.
I changed all my university email info to a new account today, next bank etc. so annoying.

Any old douche bag with a 486 and windows 1.1 can say they are anonymous or working for them. I think this is some douche kid that has got hold of the email list from somwhere. Anonymous is anyone that wants to claim to be anonymous.
After some thought I think this is all they have, a list of old emails from the UK branch. The email is clearly not from a JW and the writing is bad which makes me think its a kid.

To open the email you had to enter a password, the clue was MENE MENE ? UPARSIN
The answer is tekel (thank you google)
Its the writing on the wall in hebrew (i guess).
The email was entitled Email threat, this is not spam!
The only reason i opened it is because i know what hushmail is. I imagine most on the list will just delete it. But having looked through the list again all the bethel heads of department are there, its just there first name initial then thir last name then @Uk.jw.org which is correct. I have a friend who is married now and has a new email add, but his old one is on the list. Plus i left bethel 12 years ago. So goodness knows why i got an email, unless this has come from an old document or old file???

I am as confused as you Simon. I think its a foreign non JW who has access to bethel email addresses. There are around 79 email addresses in the list of people sent to. Including Ron Drage (head of uk factory).

I dont believe the email James but they have my email and the head of the factory and a amongst all the other names, people i knew in bethel. So someone has a list.
The email itself is BS because its pretending to be from a CO. it defo isnt. Its from a non JW and its obvious from the way its written.
