i have come to the conclusion that posting here and visiting this site is not healthy for me anymore.
i just get angry and upset when i read all the stories of injustice and corruption that go on in the jehovahs witness religion.
they are true no doubt, as i have personally experienced many injustices and abuses in my life from being a witness.
Good man, I agree, it is a healthy move we all will take in time. Go back 10 years on the forum and all those people are names not recognised, all moved on.
It does feel like time lost to WT, being here. Though I am sure your words and thoughts have helped those that left, were leaving. Then there are the invisible thousands who read this site in fear.
We will be replaced by more that leave soon enough.
Enjoy your life, forget about the whole damn thing, the best you can.

Kate, Viv is a real smart, real nice person. Her downfall is that she doesn't get personal or smartarsey (like me) so her posts read as succinct short replies and people assume a sarcastic, patronising tone when reading her harmless, short comments. It is quite bizzare to watch, she will simply ask the obvious and be called names....by adults ....parents of children.... for simply stating the obvious.
I have seen the theists bully the hell out of her, unlike anyone I have seen bullied here. She is a tough woman and has said nothing and done nothing but continued to give succinct, accurate replies.
You did make a comment I didn't like, a.ong the lines of how she was still very Watchtower, in her approach. This is the ultimate offensive comment here, for obvious reasons. I truly don't think it was warranted. Come on Kate, you are a good lass too, no need for all of this,
I assure you, I could learn so much from Viv, she is SUPER smart, give her a break and look up what she writes. She is 100% not a bullshitter.

I have started to feel a little different about it all. We have a lot ot answer for too. Think of all those ~16yr olds that left, They were demonised as 'wayward' or 'worldly'. We didn't think for a moment that they had just lost their whole world because they no longer wanted to be JW's.
I think if those teens that left as heroes now, little brave dudes who were smarter than all of us put together. Tough mother cookies too!
But they also hold up a mirror to us all....it is an uncomfortablerealisation.... we all kinda knew it was b.s., we all knew there was a spell on our thought processes and we could have worked harder to leave earlier.mThise teens figured it out, even if it was to leave and have some fun!
Yes shame on the WT society, but also shame on us, on the people that taught it us ......and the quicker people say enough is enough and leave, the better for many. If you have kids in the religion, really there is no reason good enough on earth to keep them in it... get them out before they lose another day.

Of course I have vid, but make silly comments if you wish, we of course treat patients holistically.
But we were discussing nomenclature and definitions, with regard to animation and life. Now you have simply sought out a further use of the word spirit, spiritual as in belief system and it's place in medicine.
Not what we were discussing at all.
Prologos: because we can work the machinery back to a very simple state. Also we are on the path to explaining the gap between atoms coming from stars and molecules forming in space and that very simple state. It isn't that unbelievable at all. Rule it out if you wish, I see no evidence or reason to.
As for a god, rule it in as you wish, I see no evidence or reason to.
