  So says the IMF. Do we declare another WTS prediction as false prophecy yet? Or wait for some coming 'surprises' from China and its allies?

  Unofficially, China declared it will not defend North Korea if it collapses or starts a war.

  Looking at a global map, some observers have declared that China is building out pipelines and extensive rail systems across Eurasia in a manner that prevents interdiction of energy or trade by the US Navy. Fox News claims China's Navy will greatly surpass the US throughout Asia in 5 years.

  however, it asserts that russia may have banned some extremist works connected with islam.. thus, i would conclude that banning jw extremist literature may be sincere, to a degree, as a official policy against religious extremism.. .

  The above article doesn't even mention the surprizing move towards vegetarianism amoung many young people.

  This is part of what is so astonishing to me. This "Putin wants to invade" stuff makes no sense.

  Europe is debt laden and widely unemployed. The Ukraine is even worse. This isn't 1939 and I can't imagine why Russia would want such a mess - OTHER THAN to maintain a buffer zone - which was the Gentleman's Agreement started by Gorbachev.

  China is building an array of amazing weapons to counter US power: the DF-21 "Carrier Killer" missile, anti satellite weapons, nuclear attack subs with underwater protective "pens", and new stealth fighters.

  China sent a spacecraft to the moon and back and the mainstream media barely even noticed.

  It's like reading "Mein Kampf" in 1936 and then wondering why no one seems to be paying attention.

  there were lawsuits and nasty headlines and bad press and concerns about what other sort of sexual misdeeds might be covered up.. then, in a breathtaking moment of hubris, the apparent 'boss' of this religion gave a widely reported speech in which he revealed his obsession with homosexuals and young men wearing tight pants..

  Obama visits to talk free trade - and China moves forward with a free trade zone that excludes the US. And they allow highly inflammatory prominent blogs about the US (as discussed in the NY Times)

  And they test the new stealth fighter party made from plans they stole from the US' F-35 program - while the visit is taking place !

  I am simply astonished by this bizarre "blindspot" activity about the rise of China in regard to the almost deferential behavior of US officials. They obsess about Putin and ISIS and seem oblivious to the seriousness of what will confront them in the near future

  China is pushing its currency globally. I truly do not know what will happen if the US Petrodollar system ends. There seems to be a wide range of opinion about it.

  Before the visit, Xinhua referred to the President as "banal" and "insipid". China is not known for having a free press, so yes, I do put some stock in these interesting photos as to their intent.

  My speculation: The US is getting suckered into a 'good cop, bad cop' situation. They are obsessed with Putin as 'evil', "mad' or Hitler-like and Europe goes along with this nonsense. Meanwhile, China grows stronger every week and keeps building a sort of alternative global financial system, piece by piece.

  Oh.... and Chinese physicists have announced that they will start building a quantum communication system within their nation and then expand it into the world. They seek to secure themselves against the NSA.

  I think Putin knows exactly what he and his Chinese hosts are doing: chipping away at US control while quietly plotting.

  China is the nation that gave us Sun Tzu, after all.
