No, it's not about a new USSR. And Putin is not a madman. It's about the "Gentleman's Agreement".

Russia has been invaded ENOUGH! They rightfully resent having a hostile alliance pushed up against their borders.

The "Gentleman's Agreement" was an excellent example of how peace can be managed. Sadly, they should have gotten it in writing so that truly evil warmongers in the west (as with "F**k the EU!") would be stopped.

Russia will compensate for sanctions and get by with the continuing support of China in particular.

if any alien lifeform was found on mars or another planet or even a comet, be it tiny bacteria or even some form of non carbon based life form, would that not destroy religions grip on mankind?

One of the Founding Fathers of the USA talked about this topic 200 years ago. Tom Paine rejected the Bible - in part because he reasoned about the "multiplicity of worlds" in which creatures similar to humans are likely to exist. And did they have an Adam, Eve and Jesus too? (The Age of Reason).

Richard Dolan recently wrote a book on the likely effects of Full Disclosure. He concludes that among revealed religions groups such as Muslims and Mormons might do OK because they already have speculative beliefs about ET's.

I am interested in the possibility that an earth dominated by the BRICS alliance might have no problem with Disclosure unlike the US.

The Chinese call these fossils "feathered dragons".

China has openly called for the world to 'de-americanize'. I see this as succeeding.

Since the specific facts I presented have not been addressed, I can move along to another critical point about US weakness: Saudi Arabia.

On the one hand, they are supposed an "ally" , on the other hand, they sponsor hate and jihadist teaching throughout the world and try to start wars with Iran/Syria.

There are some Congressmen also demanding the release of the 28 pages that are classified as to Saudi participation in 9/11. This is not some tin foil hat movement especially given Graham's impressive resume in foreign intelligence and his role in investigating 9/11.

It appears to be the perfect symbiosis of evil: the Saudis create trouble and the US gets stuck in places such as Iraq trying to fix it - while the US military-industrial complex gets rich. Rinse and repeat.....

Sorry I can't believe that any level of dumbassedness would surprize you, given your own viewpoints.

Yes, Ukraine was and is wildly corrupt. The last thing it needed was US interference pushing against Russia. Europe put forth good, wholesome proposals for change that got ignored amidst 5 billion dollars worth of US influence that encouraged arrogance.

Duh ! This is why the US ambassador was moved to say "F**k the EU". And with remarks such as that, you wonder who the vassals are?

A former US Assistant Treasury Secretary ( Paul Roberts) said European leaders are given "bags of money" to encourage their obedience. Remember bribery scandals in Europe years ago involving US weapons sales?

And don't rely too heavily on US military might - the defense budget is being cut, the F-35 fighter program is a disaster and US weapons are too expensive and being priced out of the market - which is why Russia passed the US recently in global arms sales. And with the dollar rising against the ruble, who will likely sell even more?

I'm not sure that any US tank/armor is not obsolete, given the Russian "Kornet" weapon.

China in particular is developing weapons to overcome US advantages such as the DF-21 "carrier killer" missile and advanced anti-satellite measures.

Duh again! Anybody watch national news today? And notice how pathetic the response of "allies" is to US efforts against ISIS? Half-hearted? Weak? As if they are getting tired of being told what to do?

Anybody note the recent collective praise of some African leaders about China building rail lines for them - while also criticizing the US for constantly telling them what to do?
