Everyone is Equal in God's Loving Organization
by new boy inthey said we are all the same in god’s eyes.
that everyone is equal.
to prove this they call everyone “brother and sister.” sadly, this really isn’t the case.

Great list sir82.
I hated the whole, we're all the same when I knew how untrue that was! Hubby was an overseer at the DC, we were assigned to sit in the Royal Box, lots of seating, no queuing for the toilets.....huge if you're female! I voiced that I was uncomfortable about this as why should we get the cushy seats, I was told it was so it would be easier to find hubby (ridiculous considering he was so busy he'd only come there for his lunch)(have they not heard of phones) I sat in there and watched a poor sister with about 4 children struggling to find seats...she looked close to tears. Her face lit up when she saw all these empty rows in the Royal Box........Trouble is eagle eyed attendant saw her making a bee line and raced down to the opening to stop her getting in! (Too unworthy) She burst into tears, it was awful.........I refused to sit in there after that. Just one of the many hypocrital things I've witnessed through the years, I'm so glad I'm out of it x

Out on Facebook
by disillusioned 2 ini am just venting because my sister has put on facebook that i am no longer "in the truth"!
i have kept a very low profile for years and have silently faded.
many witnesses i have bumped into are very friendly towards me, some from other congregations may not even be aware that i dont go anymore.

I would message again and ask her to delete her comment as its not her place to tell people about your personal life. The same thing happened to me, my sister announced on FB that I'd Disasociated (someone else showed me as of course she'd unfriended me the day it was announced) I would love to have challenged her but couldn't as I didn't want to make life difficult for the mutual friend who told me. It feels like a real betrayal and almost like it's being done so that they can get all the sympathy.....very sad. I hope you resolve this xx -

Interestingly if you google charities who have tried to challenge the charity commission Jehovah's Witness came up first with a charity called Cage second.......they help people who have been accused of terrorism!!!
I agree Pepperheart, why fight if you have nothing to hide. We all know the real reason is because they will lose lots of money if they lose charitable status.

I love your name....made me smile. Welcome to the forum. A place where you can be yourself. I know you are looking back with regret of the wasted years, I too pioneered from school and only got out (physically as well) at age 45. But I have to say once physically out I was so happy (way more than I expected) that I thought if I can live to 90 I've got another 45 years to enjoy (true enjoyment)! It's never too late. It's not an easy road to take (mine was 3 years ending in Disasociation and losing my family) but it was worth it. I wouldn't have thought so when I was at the stage you're at but as time goes on and your life fills more with non JW things, the JW things have less and less hold on you. Best wishes to you....there's a wonderful life waiting for you, grasp it.
