  Well this might out me, but just before my fade I was in a car with 3 eldubs from the congn. They were discussing a pioneer sister from another local NW UK congn. who stands outside chemists where people were coming & going fetching their medication prescibed from the doctor.

  She'd accost them with the words " Do you yearn for a time when mankind won't need medicine "?

  They all sat in the car cackling away between themselves. You can't make up this whole new level of bat s**t crazy. That poor lovely sister being really sincere, and here where men who were meant to be looking after her soul!

  Died Due To Refusing Blood Transfusion

  well, last monday my mother, a jehovah's witness since her baptism in 1968 died last week because she would not accept a blood transfusion.

  she was 76 and had lung and skin cancer.

  i know that the cancer would have gotten her anyway, but she was bleeding internally, and was told that she needs a blood transfusion, as her blood count went all the way down to 3.2 (should be 12-14.

  The Congregational Make Up Research Project: WTB&TS wants to know you.

  we have a bethel speaker on the english side.

  they're pretty regular up here since it's only three and a half hours drive from nyc.. but this is a special kind of visit.. it turns out he's involved in doing a special research project and the christian congregation of jw's wants to know us better.. in order for the broadcasting to address issues more meaningful for families, they want to know the demographic make up of the congregations.. he spoke with the secretary about young single publishers and couples 20-35 y.o.

  I've just finished reading this page due to being in a huge dysfunctional family. I wanted to learn how to realign boundaries to break destructive dynamics etc. Whilst I was reading thro' it dawned on me that this is how the WBT$ operates.

  let me start by saying that this forum has been helpful to me in many ways.

  i haven't gotten involved in much commenting and i am not very assertive by nature so i've steered away from participating in debates.

  but i have read threads often and had a sense of community.

  Great post. Thank you. You could have been reading my thoughts when you penned it.

  I'm at the point in my life were I don't have any inclination to devise or enter great debates. We can all acquire knowledge etc and express this on said forum. But I've since learned that there are 8 billion+ different perspectives on reality and what to do with acquired knowlege.

  I've felt I should contribute great posts ( well they would be to me in my wildest imaginings ). But I can't get my mojo going. I spent 32+yrs studying with the WBT$, and I cant be a#$3★.

  glide over to the French doors. I do not touch the handles, yet, in the manner of a dream, both doors open before me.

  These words describe my inner thoughts/feelings exactly. So much awakening in me lately I'm actually overwhelmed at my creative side that's developing. It's exciting.
