  What did you do?

  to all those who have in some way left the organization (be it disfellowshipping, disassociating, dis-whatever):.

  come now, i know the amount of people who "realized that wt doctrine was in serious error" and politely handed in their letter of resignation has to be very small.

  the level of bitterness and hostility towards the closest-to-what's-biblical organization has to develop some other way.. what did you do?

  children annoying you.. and you wish how you were sitting at least

  "Is this greed?"

  Uhhh... Aren't you doing it for "everlasting life"? I mean, let's be real about this: living forever in "perfect" bodies, never dying or even getting sick. Hmmm... I would say that's a motivator, right there.

  What did I do? I woke up - and realized that I no longer wanted to be a part of an "organization" full of arrogant, self-righteous, closed-minded, drones. I pity you for your blind devotion.

  Hi, Rochelle. I remember you from posting on H2O, & checking out your site a while back. I see you've updated it a bit (although I'm glad you kept that photo of yourself up - you're quite a cutie!).

  Welcome to this forum - the original H2O died from lack of funding/commercial interest by it's ISP, or something. Then it was re-incarnated, but the format takes a long time to load, & people kept jumping ship to THIS site (at least for the more intelligent discussions).

  it seems to be the dream of many here to put the wt corperation out of business.

  well, i hate to throw a bucket of cold water called reality on your dreams, but it is not likely to happen anytime soon.. the wt society has annual reveune of about $2.5 billion.

  that figure was from recent disclosures they had to file as a not-for-profit company.

  What, specifically, led you to that conclusion? I haven't seen anyone here "plotting" anything of this nature - although it may the wish of many here. It doesn't mean we're trying to put them out of business. Besides, with all the built-in "return customers" they have for the mags & books they publish, it would be rather difficult.

  MH Larson is most likely Max Larson - was the Factory Overseer when I was at Bethel. I seem to remember the second name, but not sure.

  No. No, I cannot agree. The WTBTS routinely tells elder bodies that if they report a molestation incident to the authorities (especially when it's not required to do so by law), that the elder body is on it's own - no help from "Mother".
